That massively sucks. How am I going to get to see Tyson Chandler or Beastmode butt-ass naked if it wasn’t for amazing publications like Sports Illustrated? T-T

    People don't read magazines anymore.

They are going exclusively online and will only have swimsuit models wearing their "articles".

SI website has gotten progessively worse for years. Nobody has time to navigate the maze of glitching & pop up advertising.

Their competition isn’t much better. Blows my mind that these sports websites are as clunky as they are. Still haven’t figured out how to disable auto play on ESPN sidebar videos - they even bypass video blocker plug-ins I’ve downloaded. SI used to be so clean and user friendly.

The AI articles were really egregious. That was the end.

Magazines and print journalism has been on the outs since the internet became a thing... really.

Yeah, I used to get SI way back in the day, and loved it. But once you get info immediately, getting a magazine 5 days after, say, the Super Bowl and reading their coverage of it is kinda weird. The moment has already passed.

Yup. It's old news. So they have to get by with interviews and stuff like that, but now people listen to podcasts. Why would I read an interview?

we keep shutting all the prints down, when the shit hits the fan and the internet doesn’t work, there won’t be any news left to read anywhere. Technology is killing the foundation of our society.

Putting a man on the cover of the swimsuit edition probably didn't help either.

The internet is magazine and print journalism. (And a lot of other mess you have to sift through to find it)

    I laughed.

Not for the reason you think. And not necessarily because this was funny. Or right.

I've tried that when my wife is telling me to get off the couch and do something "productive".

    Doesn't work.

They probably are getting out just before an incoming administration can ban bikinis forever. Swimsuits will be one piece baggy pantaloons again

Exactly. I'm more likely to have my phone read the interview to me.
