I can't believe, but completely believe, he knew that game winner was his 2500th three-pointer made. What an achievement.
I was in Milwaukee for the game last night. That was amazing! So many feels to witness Dame Time not in a Blazer jersey.
Tears of sadness AND joy. I hope he wins it all this year so he gets his before we come to form and take him out in the finals in 27’-28’.
You don’t think players and coaches both vote Dame in over Trae? Fan vote only matters as a tiebreaker if coaches and players are split right?
Says 50-50. 50% fan vote and then 25% for each media and players. The answer I'm finding is the only way to become a starter is by fan vote? I do not know if that is exactly true?
I think the fans 100% being responsible for starters is outdated: https://www.nba.com/news/2023-nba-all-star-starters-announced
What is seemingly the players agreeing with you is the fact that Lillard consistently gets picked by the captains almost immediately.
I think giving phone or social media votes equal weight to in-arena ballots was outdated from day one.
There's no better setting for someone capable of shooting from anywhere and not interested in playing defense.
Dame just put up 45 points on 22 shots, 11 assists with just 1 turnover and 6 boards in a game against the Pistons that was far more competitive than I'm sure the Bucks fans were expecting.
One of the greatest to play the game. Man I miss what he brings to the organization. A lot of players I liked have moved on but this guy left a gaping hole on his way out.
So which hurts worse, getting a player like Oden that never got a chance, or getting a player like Lillard who played here for a decade and left without even sniffing the promised land?
