If/when those moves become part of what he can do ... (1) will we see them in games? and (2) does he make connections between them and what he already does for multiple options?
Jabari needs minutes. He's got to learn the hard way how to defend the low block. I know the Blazers got a bunch of backup Centers and still have Nurkic. But I'm thinking we'll see small ball rotations with Walker at Center just to get him experience.
Really loving this kid. Perfect off the bench role player. The hustle seems contagious when he is on the floor.
That’d be impressive if I knew what the fuck that is!? I know he’s not the 3rd best forward…..so it can’t be THAT important right?
hands and positioning. Some players have an instinct to sniff out rebounds. Walker can grab boards in traffic, and not fumble it away like a bunch of other losers on winning teams.
I love this kid. And I think Grant can hang at the three. Is this our big lineup going forward? Grant,Walker, Ayton? with the right backup guys, could they evolve into contender status if Scoot and Sharpe blossom? obviously a lot of X factors, but so far I like how they are playing together. Seems like a good fit. Ayton has a solid mid range, spot up jumper and can run the floor. Jabari bangs down low and Grant a threat from three?
Defensive Rebounding percentage. It's the percentage of defensive rebounds a player grabs out of all available rebounds while he's on the court. It just means he's a good rebounder.
I believe our most balanced starting unit right now is Malcolm, Ant, Grant, Walker, and Ayton. And a bench of Scoot, Sharpe, Thybulle, Camara, and Reath. When Sharpe is ready and passes Simons, then Ant can come off the bench. And hopefully, Scoot will be ready to take over after next season. Will this scenario play out? No
