Here's the thing, though. The 2 players on the list I'd be most interested in are already Blazers. I'm more interested in players than picks, but I'd be interested in buying low on a Thompson twin, Jarace Walker, or some other recent high pick.

I'm interested in prospects and picks. The flexibility of picks probably are more appealing to me, especially if we can shed salary going into the off season because we could use cap space to trade picks straight up for a player that we want.

    Camara is just about untouchable.

The only way to get a Thompson twin is with Anfernee to Detroit for Ausar and change. I think they do that. Do we? No.

We need a Sheed type trade. That was Harvey Grant and Rod Strickland for Sheed and Mitchell Butler. We've got Harvey's kid to put in the deal along with Ant or Brogdon. Come on. Who can we get who could swing the Blazers into contention sooner?

Wait...why would Detroit do that? Cade, Ivey, and Simons together? How does that make any more sense than us keeping Ant alongside Scoot and Shae?

I might... depends upon what the change was.

I think in general keeping Ant is the smart move, but I really like Ausar's game

They can't count on anyone but Cade and they DESPERATELY need shooting. Monty does not trust Ivey or Ausar but that might be slowly changing.

Ausar is an awesome defensive player already. I want this team to take a defensive identity first and foremost. Not being undersized in the backcourt long-term is the easiest path to success.

Oh, I'm on board with picking up Ausar. I was just doubting Detroit's motivation. But if they're not sold on Ivey, then it might make sense for them.

Giddey's minutes have declined quite a bit, but he isn't far from averaging a triple double per/36. He is just getting squeezed because OKC has so many good, young players.

This is a 21 year old that can play multiple possessions and is producing at a young age. Imagine if one of our 21 years old's was putting up that type of production?

People make mistakes when they are young and as far as I have read he didn't do anything criminal, right?

Most of the evidence online pointed to him hooking up with an underage girl, but the family was unwilling to cooperate.

Are you expecting a city who went crazy over the Chauncey hire over something could’ve happened that happened like 20 years ago to be okay with bringing in Giddey over something that could’ve happened like maybe 2 years ago?

    Yeah, idk.
