If the Hawks move Murray, I wonder if they’d be interested in a follow up move to get Malcolm? They have a logjam of SFs. Maybe MB for either Bey or Griffin + Patty…

I don't think the Blazers would want to trade Brogdon for another guard. The idea would be to trade him for picks, and maybe a young wing like Aaron Wiggins.

Giddey is 6'8" but does have a very poor wingspan of only 6' 7.5" so who knows? And I just looked up Wiggins, listed as SG and is 6'5". He does have a 6' 11" wingspan though.

T-Wolves taking the cheap route? If so they won't go after Brogdon.
The Timberwolves have also expressed interest in guards Delon Wright and Alec Burks, league sources told HoopsHype. So who could be on the move if Minnesota lands that coveted backup point guard? Rival executives are monitoring Timberwolves bench players Wendell Moore Jr., Shake Milton, and Troy Brown Jr. as potential trade candidates heading into Thursday’s deadline.

Yep. Wolves are going to have a HUGE tax bill next season. They are trying to avoid it this season

He's actually listed as the backup PF on their depth chart.

But he's also listed as a SG and SF various places. I figured he was more of a SF. He averages 6 rebounds per 36.

He's intriguing because of his tremendous TS%, he's also young/athletic, and hasn't really gotten a chance to be any more than a backup, so he's the type of player I think we should be looking for.

My issue with this comparison is Houston didn't have a starting PG going in to this season, or a decent backup. It made sense to bring in a veteran to help all of their young kids. We have Ant, with Scoot backing him up, essentially making Brogdon 3rd string next season. With a very diminished role. Seems like an apples to pickles comparison.

I still believe that Ant doesn't fit as a pg, dominates the ball to much. Besides nscootnb is the future at PG, Brogdon would be a terrific back up. Anferno is a true shooting guard, but we have Shaedon for the future there. I believe we could acquire another young front court stud if we package Ant & some. Just my take is all.

Guru -- your right Ant is not a PG but that idiot coach Billups should be handing that duty and more minutes to Scoot so not Ant's fault Billups is stupid. Ant should be a SG who CAN handle the ball at times when Scoot and/or Brogs is on the bench and if Billups was smart that would be only 10 min or under a game . This all comes down to the fact Billups is too reliant on the vets cause a certain GM has it in his small pea sized brain at least that is the perception ( maybe fact ) that he thinks this team might be able to sneak into the play in tournament. I will admit maybe I am too hard on Cronin but until he proves me wrong I will continue to rip him to pieces when warranted.

This deadline Cronin should trade Brogs without a doubt to give Scoot the ball more so he can learn but Cronin should also maybe look to find a vet sitting at home or trade market who can play 10 to 15 minutes a game who can still be a mentor to Scoot but who will not really challenge him for minutes. I am not sold that Grant should be traded at the deadline unless it's a sweetheart deal cause not sure we can even get 75% value for him during the season. I also would not trade Williams unless its for a promising player who just needs minutes and 2 to 3 -- 2nd round picks but that is asking a lot for a player who cannot play again this season and is super injury prone. When Friday rolls around and if Brogs is still a Blazer then Cronin is a complete tool and should be fired plain and simple and if some fans do not get this then I am sorry to say your hopeless and your silly just like Cronin.

EDIT -- Sorry should not have said the last part I have changed it but the rest i stand by

I still think the rockets strategy is stupid.

The 11th place rockets is a model to build by?

Just paying attention to Jake this trade deadline and I think he and just about everyone reporting about us right now are carrying water for Joe who is likely telling every other front office that we're listening to offers but they have to really blow us away because we like what we have. I wouldn't be shocked if this wasn't posturing and Joe actually thinks this current roster makes sense but I lean more towards us moving Jerami and Malcolm after all of this posturing.

Just have to wait and see but I don't think Malolm and Jerami sit against Denver if there aren't offers on the table that Joe likes or just need a little more for Joe to like them... or the guys were honestly too injured to play.

RR7 -- your right I went a tad too far on the last sentence so I changed it but like I said I stand by the rest. If you want to debate me go for it but say that but just cause I got a tad out of hand does not mean you should have made your post either IF it was about me but assuming it was - LOL

Yeahhhh...saying that anyone who disagrees with a subjective opinion is objectively wrong makes one sound incredibly unreasonable.
