Everyone wants their children to get a good education and to have healthcare. Offer them great education and healthcare in a safe place. And teach those children. Show them love and compassion. Help their families whenever possible.

Help them build infrastructure. Help them improve their lot.

There will be attacks by Hamas. Some people will die. And as their children are being killed by Hamas they will start turning on Hamas.

Eventually you'll start turning them all, or enough that they'll get rid of the others.

This is what we should have done in Afghanistan. Had we done this from the beginning we wouldn't have had to pull out the way we did. And we would have made a huge amount of headway toward positive change in the Middle East.

 

Not every disagreement with Israel is spouting Hamas propaganda. And children are not pint sized terrorists. Although if you want to teach them to hate, bombing their home and killing their family...

 

We did this in Japan, Germany & South Korea and it worked. War is terrible but is worse if the survivors are not given any hope with a future.

For any of this plan to happen, and for any chance at peace between Israel and Gaza. Two things MUST happen.

1) Hamas must go
2) UNRWA must go

The only road to peace is for Israel to remove the terrorists, and take control of the security in Gaza. Then implement your good plan to help the people of Gaza to control their own lives, so Israel can get out of Gaza.

Untill Hamas and UNRWA are removed from Gaza, peace is not possible.

Example, it does no good to continue the education system they now have. Over half the teachers are members of Hamas. They are teaching the kids radical terrorist brainwashing. While the teachers are paid by UNRWA

No, you create safe and protected schools and hospitals in Gaza, and you protect them. You exclude Hamas and UNRWA from participating.

Win hearts and minds and the people will eventually make them go.

Hamas and UNRWA may attack you and they may attack the people of Gaza in retaliation for working with you.

That works to the benefit of Israel in the long term.. that is how the terrorists lose the hearts and minds of Gaza.

The reason your plan worked in Japan and Germany is because their leaders unconditionally surrendered, and gave complete security control to the allies. And many of their leaders were punished for war crimes.

I believe a case of your plan, of only having partial control, not working is Korea. The part controlled by the allies did much better for their people. And people still controlled by the communist are in far worse shape. Plus, this war never ended. More than 70 years later, N Korea is still a treat to world security today. The wars with Japan and Germany did end.

Interesting choice of words to be calling this a ‘war’. Not sure systematically killing thousands of civilians who aren’t fighting back is what most rational humans consider to be ‘war’. I think there’s a more appropriate term that I can’t quite place at the moment. I think it might start with a G.

 

Hamas and UNRWA are nothing compared to North Korea. These are terrorists. Not military powers.

They don't have the power to keep Israel out the way North Korea has done, and they don't have the benefit of being bordered with a superpower like China.

You literally can't root out Hamas by force without killing nearly everyone in Gaza. That's what you're advocating for. It's genocide.

The people will have to root them out, and the only way they'll do that is if you empower them and give them a better option.

This exactly. Israel is creating far more hate by their actions than they are killing. One you kill turns multiple into your enemies.

I have no dog in the fight, but this is just not sound strategy.

 

Hamas is the only one interested in complete genocide of Israel. They shout it from the roof tops and train young people to hate and kill Jewish people. Once Hamas is removed only then can Palestine see a bright prosperous future. The Abraham accord will bring prosperity and peace to many of the Arab countries.

People do not end wars. The leaders that control the money funding the war decide when it ends.

The leaders funding this Hamas war on Israel are hiding in fancy resorts in Qatar, Turkiye and Iran. Payed for by western money. It is these leaders that need to be eliminated, not more innocent people. End the funding behind the war, and then start fixing Gaza.

 

Not everyone in Gaza is a terrorist. In fact, the vast majority are not.

I am advocating that those who are not terrorists be protected. Anybody who acts as a terrorist should be targeted. But no innocents.

If the leaders are in Qatar, Turkey, and Iran i would suggest attacking them there if an attack has to happen. Why would attacking Gaza impact them?

What's happening in Gaza right now has no chance at success without genocide. Which would be a tragedy and a failure of epic proportions.

 

Where does bombing refugee camps and infrastructure, killing 10,000 children and cutting off food, water and medical supplies play into this bright and prosperous future? It’s pretty clear at this point Israel (the government, not necessarily the people) wants a land free of Palestinians and will just kill them all if that’s what it takes. I’m not sure how anyone could look at the sum of all these parts and come to any other conclusion.

 

This is a war. Hamas fighters are organized in military units based around battalions.

This all could end today.. Return all of the hostages. Israel will not stop fighting until they have all of their people back.

If so many people in Gaza are innocent,(which I do not believe), why are they not trying to end the fighting by helping to release the hostages? Many people in Gaza know where the hostages are being held, but are protecting Hamas.
