Out of sight, out of mind. If they dont have to see it’s face first then it’s fine to put a coat hanger through it.
It’s sort of like the kids we murder in other countries. As long as we’re not personally inconvenienced by the sight of it, it’s a necessary step toward (insert vague patriotic foreign policy platitude here).

We murder them at super bowl parades and elementary schools like real patriots eh? Doesn't get more public than that unless it's execution by some rage filled cop. You don't have to look overseas to see Americans abusing weapons or using violence against innocent civilians.

It's literally in the constitution. It just so happens that it's also the best way to handle it. There is no law that can handle it more gracefully or more fairly.

Abortion is not a constitutional right. You keep falsely asserting that. Even if it were, I"m not even arguing on the grounds of legality, but of ethics and morality. If you're dealing with the question of murder it's not a "civic" question, it's one of the most fundamental ethics of humanity...don't murder other humans.

The idea that there's a line immediately preceeding a baby's crossing the threshold of the birth canal into the world simply makes no sense, unless you imagine some kind of magical transformation takes place, which is an untenable position given that we know no such transformation takes place.

No, you misunderstood mine. I said that in response to an argument YOU made, I was never saying it had anything to do with the constitution.

Laws are civic constructs. They are there to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of civilization.

Separation of church and state First Amendment. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."
You don't legislate morality, you educate morality.

You want to prevent abortions? Encourage girls and women to go to school, practice safe sex, and to use birth control.

You want to teach them your religious beliefs? Make your church a place women want to be.

Abortion restrictions result in increased crime rates and decreased GDP after about 15 years.
Abortion liberation results in lower crime rates and increased GDP after 15 years.

Abortion restrictions are bad for society.

The founding fathers got this right. The government doesn't have the right to protect an unborn fetus from it's host. Nor should it. There is no need for it. In fact, it's terrible for every constitutionally recognized citizen involved.

There doesn't need to be a line. People aren't having late term abortions. This isn't a civic problem that needs to be specifically addressed by the law.

Simply protect the right of people to make their own reproductive decisions and they will generally make the correct choice for society.

Regardless, the constitution protects the rights of it's citizens. The constitution doesn't recognize the unborn.

The 5th and 14th amendments very clearly intend for citizens to have the freedom and privacy to make their own personal decisions, free of government controls.

So you don't have the right to have a say in any abortion unless you find yourself pregnant.

Actually, there is--drawing breath. Crazily enough (and understand that I am very much opposed to abortion), there is even a Biblical argument in favor of that being the point at which life is recognized. Genesis 2:7 "Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."

Under Jewish law a human life begins when a child is born and draws breath.

The researchers note in their analysis that Covid -19 infections have consistently been more likely to cause the conditions observed in this study than vaccination.

Road Ratt didn't quote the second paragraph of his linked article which essentially contradicts his thesis.
