If so, I hope they pick better than Kris Murray.

Murray isn't that impressive but nobody taken after him is impressive either. In fact, nobody taken after Whitmore at #20 has looked like much, so far. Those two forwards Brooklyn took that people coveted so much in a Dame trade haven't done anything. The last 2/3rds of that year's draft may be a bust. Portland just got unlucky or unwise and had a late 1st in a bad draft. I hope that doesn't repeat this year

Scottie Barnes broke his finger playing against the dirty rotten Warriors. The Raptors couldn't keep up. The Blazers pick keeps getting worse.

Maybe the Warriors will trade 5 2nds to get their FRP back?

a month ago the Warriors had lost 10 of 14, were 5 games under .500, and 11th seed in the lottery

since then, they have gone 13-3, are 5 games over .500, are 9th in the West, are 2 Games out of 7th seed and hosting the play-in game, and 3 games from 6th seed and a bye in the play-in

Blazers: if they didn't have bad luck they'd have no kind of luck at all

It SHOULD hurt their momentum. He was playing well again.

Jaylen Brown and the Celtics are laying the smack down on the Warriors

Today’s beatdown should count as three losses.

This thread works hard to WILL the Warriors to lose, so we can move up in the draft, then our team ruins the hard work of S2 members, by beating Memphis twice in a row.

So this thread should bitterly criticize the Blazers every time they win a game.

Yes, when did a mid to late 1st round pick ever help anyone?

If nobody answers, this thread dies. So why do you help it being alive?

(it's interesting for me as I don't follow Golden State closely)

good grief where.... heres a quote from the link you posted. Andrew Wiggins's "father, Mitchell Wiggins, has been dealing with a serious medical situation, sources close to the situation say."

Sure sounds like he's dying a drawn out death. I don't see any "plus side" about that but you do you

In regards to the Warriors pick they just need to not make the play in. A little bonus would be if one of the Bulls or Hawks did. That puts that pick at 13 or 14 and that will be great.

For our pick we just need to lose out. We better be done playing Jerami and Ant should sit against Toronto too. I think you might shut Ant down at that point but realistically we will probably lose every game between Toronto and the next time we play Charlotte even if we were healthy and tried to win. So after the Orlando game, going into Charlotte, it should be a skeleton crew of scrubs for the final seven games of the season, unless they're healthy and we want to get Scoot and Shae some run together. I think the Hornets will win two games in their next four (Wizards and Pistons) if we lose out that's one more win for Charlotte and we end up with the 4th best odds in the draft.

Yes, because when I'm feeling down and out I go on a message board and state my moral superiority to others...

You don't understand how Andrew Wiggins not playing for the Warriors is good for our pick prospects? Nobody said it was good for Andrew. Good grief, guy... this isn't Twitter/X.

I expect 4 is where we'll land. Charlotte has been playing pretty well relative to their record.
