I don't think anybody is suggesting legalizing all drugs. They would still be restricted to prescriptions by medical professionals.

But you make sure everyone has the access to medical professionals for the treatment they need for any drug dependency issues that may arise.

Removing the source of illegal drugs simply isn't an option. It's not possible.

Sounds like tonight at the state of the union speech Biden is going to announce a temporary seaport in Gaza for humanitarian aid ran by the US military

    I like it

When media keep saying Biden is old what they really mean is he's boring. And he is. How many best sellers have been written about Biden? He is the person who every day goes to work and gets the job done whether a bus driver or president, then goes home. He hasn't been found liable for rape or massive business fraud. He isn't facing 91 indictments. He doesn't say outrageous things, boast of his greatness, insult others or demand groveling loyalty. He's boring.
You know that Chinese curse, may you live in interesting times?
I want government to be boring.
This is the choice. A boring functionary or an unpredictable mob boss.
Vote boring isn't much of a campaign slogan but I don't want to live in fear of what the president might do next.

Most medical personal I've talked to on either side believe Biden will be on some type of medication to help him try to stay clear and focused. Many people with varying types of ailments take these types of prescriptions for just such public or media events. Michael J Fox used to do something similar for temporary effect when he would still make media appearances for a time but obviously struggled with his Parkinson's. It's not even that uncommon. There are certain medications that can 'prop one up' for a bit from a cognitive, but they are temporary.

Yeah, we all thought he'd fumble when debating Bernie in the debate years ago and he came out alert and energetic. He was definitely on some enhancing drugs then.

Biden's age was evident, but he was sharp and clear most of the time, other than a few slips, which seemed to be due to his stutter rather than memory impairment. There were a few times when he was interrupted by hecklers or republican members of the house and senate, but he handled those moments well.

It was a strong performance. He must have been on meds right?
