So this is worse than putting children in cages along the border? I mean what are they supposed to do here? Republicans keep harping on this even though incarcerations have gone up, and yet Republicans also aren't working in good faith to govern and come up with a solution to this manufactured crisis.

I imagine that next Republicans are going to be harping on the national debt and deficit and then blame it on Democratic policy even though the vast vast majority of it is because of the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, continual increases in the military budget, and of course the Dubya and Trump tax cuts. Again a manufactured crises designed by Republicans that they will try and lay blame on Democrats for when it was Republican policy that created the problem.

After pretending President Biden has "significant memory problems", Robert Hur said Bush v Gore was decided in 2002. It was 2000.

Why did Biden tell him it was in 2002? /sarcasm

Some evidence other than a rando named "muckraker" would be helpful.

I would certainly have a problem with any foster parent having charges of sexual misconduct.

But I don't think placing immigrant orphans with foster parents in the US is a problem...

So............you still can't/won't back up your assertions about Biden's mental competence. You DO know that just because you express an opinion, it doesn't make it a fact, correct? Quit dodging legitimate questions and have an honest discourse. And yet you say I'm "too hard to have a conversation with." C'mon, you're not even trying. Someone challenges your assertions and you'd rather be butthurt than stand up for your convictions. And as far as us "exhibit(ing) these shitty traits", I (or we) are not making fun of stutterers, Gold Star parents, soldiers who died in service of this country, veterans, former POW's, making vulgar comments about "grabbing pussies", cheating on our spouses with porn stars (and paying hush money), lying about losing an election, urging our fellow citizens to violence and the overturning of a democratic election, raping women, cheating in our business dealings, etc, etc, etc, etc. So if you really and truly "don't quite see the level of deranged intolerance from even the dumbest of right wingers", you're either deaf, dumb and blind, or you are willfully ignorant. And as far as Biden''s "corruption" goes, how's that House Special Counsel investigation into Hunter going for you? As many times as Jordan and Comer have shot themselves in the foot I'm flabbergasted they aren't in wheelchairs.....yet STILL you push the clearly false MAGA/Russia bot narrative. But hey, I've got 12 bridges across the Willamette. I can sell you one or you can have a deal on the whole dozen. Sounds good, eh?

If the "conversation is a lost cause" it's because you refuse to engage in good faith. I guess I should apologize for expecting facts and evidence when having a discussion with you.

Not to be a dick, but did you even watch your own video? It literally said that the federal government is funding this while they work to locate the parents of these kids. And then the video continued on to say "The alleged victims describe brutal attacks from older strong kids at Children's Village, as well as staffers..... according to the lawsuits already filed against the organization from those claiming they were abused in the 1970s, '80s, and '90s. Yes, god damn-it Biden how dare you work to reunite children with their parents, and why wasn't your administration working to protect these kids from the 1970s, '80s, and '90s? Thanks Obama!

This is far far worse than the actual act of forced separation of said children from their parents, and then putting said children into cages.

Oh, I understand the predicament. It's all about funding. But that funding doesn't mean much when you've completely lost the youth.

Who is more likely to come around? Liberal Jewish Americans? Or, Arabs & the youth? I would say Jewish Americans would vote for Biden regardless. The other way around? No.

Especially since the last poll I looked at, 50% of American Jews wanted a ceasefire. The ones funding Biden's campaign though? Probably not.

Fair arguments, but I sure hope Arabs and youth come around, or they're going to be even more disappointed with what Trump does both here domestically AND in Gaza. You may be upset with Biden with Gaza, and that is fair, but boy things can sure be worse.

Yeah, it's almost like the Republicans aren't working with him and are actively sabotaging the government for talking points. :smiley-pat:

The fact that you think i’m in any way butthurt, or that i come on here to speak on or defend my ‘convictions’ shows how disconnected we are. You are clearly the one irritated, agitated and making grandiose platitudes about the sanctity of the presidency and how democracy is at stake, yadda yadda yadda. I’m perfectly willing to sit back and enjoy you chicken littles scream about these issues you’ve been hand fed while you simultaneously pretend our ponzi scheme of a government is fighting some ‘good fight’ against ‘evil’, and the blue and the red! And the good guys and the bad guys! Just gotta get out there and vote! Democracy depends on it!

Shit is so stupid it’s funny.

Blackmailing voters isn't going to work. This is what they did (and continue to do) with Bernie voters who didn't vote for Clinton in the general. Just be better and you'll get votes. Comparing yourself to the lowest denominator isn't going to get people to come out and vote for you.

I will not be voting for Biden, but I have the luxury of being in California. My vote doesn't matter here anyways.

If Trump wins, we'll be one step closer to the collapse of this corrupt economic system which is already on its last leg.

Donny wasn’t one of the nihilists though. In fact he was quite interested in others business which is why he repeatedly needed to be told to shut the fuck up.
