Banton is a great piece as a 6 man moving forward...you're going to see Sharpe get the start when he's healthy over Banton. Banton can play 4 positions as needed but he's really a SG/SF
Not to nitpick, and I could be wrong, but from what I remember the "draft experts" were talking about last year's draft only for being #1. (Without Wemby) Not "any year".
My expectation of Scoot is that he will never be an All Star, but he will certainly at some point in his career be a top 15 point guard, and probably top 10. If he exceeds my expectations, great.
As for Banton, he looks like a solid "6th man." Or 7th if some of you get your wish and Ant comes off the bench, LOL
LOL, not a chance huh? You must not have taken the time to see the level of “talent” that is available this year.
Locked on podcast compared Scoot’s rookie season to Garland’s. They put up very comparable numbers, with Scoot winning the raw numbers battle, while Garland was a little more efficient. Garland was an all-star by his third year. While largely unprecedented, we can still hope that Scoot can turn things around.
I know people hate the future Hall of Famer Westbrook…..but I wonder how their stats match up. He went on to average a triple double…..wonder how this place would react to Scoot doing that?
Career/Family/Mortgage/2 car payments/Career/2 kids in college/Career…… you think I got time to know who some kid in college is who won’t do shit in the league? I leave that up to the “experts”.
All that and you still have the time to spend on here questioning how much OTHER people are paying attention. Ironic.
that's rich...as if you've "taken the time" yourself rather than just repeat what you've read....repeating it here, in thread after thread, over and over and over and over and....."I said over and over and over again: this draft is going to be a drag"
I took enough time to realize this is the weakest draft in years my guy. You stay pumped though for how it’s going to turn us around. And that’s just it, didn’t take much time.
