The fundamental flaw of the Knicks is not even remotely enough star power.

I disagree. I honestly think they're contenders when healthy. Stars like Brunson, Randal and OG with the depth of support is enough. The fact is that if Thibs is going to play the style of ball he's been playing (hard nosed) then he has to limit his top guys to around 30 minutes instead of 40+... especially with that depth they have and likely will have next season.

I don't see OG as a star at all. He's a high performing role player.

Randle is a fringe star. You need two All-NBA caliber players to really contend. And honestly I'm really not a fan of Brunson.

They were never in contention to win the title even if healthy. Boston, Denver, and apparently Minnesota are all on a different level

He had 8 assists at halftime.

Assists are not the only measure of being a ball hog.

It would’ve worked if OG, Hart, and Brunson were healthy.

I mean, his usage was that high out of necessity. Him going 1 on 5 was proven to be their best offense.

Knicks were like 23-5 when OG played. Randle is All NBA and Brunson was 5th in MVP voting. Knicks have the talent but they all got hurt.

Nuggets are champs with only one All-NBA player and no other player who has ever made an All Star team.

The Nuggets have a 3x MVP who is arguably the best player in basketball. Is there anyone on the Knicks who is that good?

You said you need 2 All NBAers to win. Knicks do, Nuggets don’t. Thus, your point doesn’t hold. And your question is stupid. No team has anyone as good as Jokic.

False. I said two All-NBA caliber players.

    Murray more than qualifies.

Randle and Brunson are 2 all-NBA caliber players.

I agree with Eric; if they had stayed healthy, the Knicks would be in the ECF, and with Porzingis hurt, the result would certainly be in question.

I think TH is having a good time reaching the conference finals before the Kings did...

Oh I think they would have gotten past Indy. I don't think Indy is as good as they're making out. They got past a decimated Bucks and now they barely got past a decimated Knicks. I Just don't think New York would be good enough to get past the Celtics. I don't think they have enough star power to win it all. Most of the time, the champ has one of the top 5 players in the league. Brunson and Randle aren't even close to that level of talent.
