My issue with Holland is how does a guy shoot 24% inn G League. This tells me he like Scoot leaned on their athleticism more so than shooting skill. I would think if you are playing G league you best get your 3 % up to least low 30's and thats even not great, but 24% ?. I say he drops out of the lottery somewhere mid teens.

I'm a pretty big fan of Furphy as well.

Real athlete, good in transition, fast with long strides, really good touch with his left hand around the rim (love watching him take a dribble handoff going to his left, stride to the rim and finish), good rebounder on both ends with a nose for the ball, plays with smarts and an edge to him. Not much volume, but flashed the footwork and mechanics to develop into a solid pull-up shooter that can get his shot off over the top of defenders. Good 3-point shooter, but effectiveness is not there yet off movement. Footwork isn't quite sharp enough, but his mechanics are versatile. Made some no dip threes, can shoot over top or in tight windows. Only thing a saw him struggle with a little bit was judging time and space when he was open where he'd slow his shot down too much and get blocked.

I could see OKC or Sacramento taking him in the lottery. I especially love him in OKC

First year getting accustomed to the NBA three point line vs college three point line. That's the difference.

I'd look at the free throw % as a true indicator of their three point shooting potential.

Interesting that Castle refuses to go to Charlotte for a workout. LaMelo can play SG next to him...if he ever gets healthy.
It does sound like he is trying his best to end up in SA.

Guess so, however, Not sure why some guards in the draft seem to be 40 plus % shooters. Im sure he can improve but it tells me he didn't work on that aspect of the game much, leaned on his athleticism to dunk and get layups. Like Scoot did.

Could it be because they shot from the college three point line as opposed to the NBA three point line that G-Leaguers did like Scoot, Matas and Holland did?

Certainly could be but how does a guy like Reed Sheppard shot 52% and some others low 40 high 30's from college?

They're probably better shooters, but you'll see their percentages change significantly next season as they're confronted with the NBA line.

Apparently the Pelicans are delaying their acquisition of the Lakers pick until next year. So the Lakers have the 17th pick now.

God please let them waste the pick on Bronny...

I mean I'd be trying to get to SA too if I was a rookie PG to play with Wemby.

I still find this laughable. Bridges is worth way more then the third pick.

That's just one piece. They would throw in more.

Hope your right and its all bullshit.

I think we heard a lot about how the Blazers wanted Sharpe and Scoot though.... I'm certainly concerned the Blazers are targeting Clingan and will be super mad if we cash in both picks to move up and get him - would be worse than the Zach Collins draft.

Just hope we take him if he drops to #7 - if the Spurs don't grab him at #4 not sure why he'd be so set on being their second choice. Guy is 6'6 we can play him together in some lineups with Sharpe just fine. The problem is trying to play one of these guys with a 6'3" SG.

Honestly our super boring roster could use some excitement and drama.
