As we did last year, let's pass the time between now and draft day with a daily vote on who should go where in the draft.

This should end with the Blazers' pick at #14 the day before the draft.

Who do you think Atlanta should take? Try to be a fan or the GM for the team, rather than who you want to have them take based on your Blazers fandom.

Tomorrow at about noon I'll set up another poll with the results factored in.

Assuming that he can play aside Okongwu, Sarr is the obvious choice here.

If they can't, do you think Okongwu is good enough to change their minds? I haven't watched him play a ton, but he has only started 26 games the last two years combined (only 8 last year) and his contract is cheap enough (and "locked-in enough") that he could come off the bench without the roster being all out of whack.

I don't have a strong opinion either way, and I agree that Sarr seems like the best bet for them, but wanted to pick your brain there.

Just saying that I view Sarr and Risacher as on the same tier, and am pretty sure ATL doesn't have anyone at the 4, so BPA at an open spot is a no-brainer. Sarr still would be a fine pick if they see him as a 5 only, just not as much of a slam-dunk as if he is also complementary to their roster.

Clingan. Too many questionmarks around Sarr (can he shoot? rebound?) whom I really like for a rebuilding team. Assuming they're not blowing it up, Clingan makes the most sense for Atlanta.

'Someone' is making a lot of noise about Clingan in Atlanta. It could all be a smoke screen as those are rampant this time of year, but Snyder keeps going on about how they need to improve their defense.

I think they should take Castle, but they won’t, so I voted who I think they will take - Sarr

Atlanta has never gotten a #1 pick. The funniest rumor floated is ATL is ready to move that #1 pick, before fans even had a chance to get excited about drafting Sarr.

The Hawks hate is real. I don't know why? Did making ECF runs in 2015 & 2021 create a posse of haters ?? Did they beat some super teams?

I can see why Blazer fans hate Atlanta. Those bastards stole our #1 pick and shoved us way down to #7. But Jody saves some money, which is always important.

Capela & Sarr should make rim protection very good. D-Murray is basically what Jordan Poole was supposed to become. I could see Atlanta moving Trae Young to the Lakers, because LeBron needs someone to yell at.

Hawks have options now. Rebuild, retool, plant seeds... they have a great coaching staff. Atlanta is playing their cards right. They just need a few more diamonds to complete their flush.
