Terrence Shannon Jr, Illinois What are thoughts on him now that all charges have been dropped against him/ he was a lottery pick until charges.
So the Ringer thinks it's Clingan and Salaun. I guess I'd be okay with that. It would be pretty boring.
I'd be pretty good with this honestly. Building a functional team is just as important as getting talent. Getting Clingan with Salaun to join Scoot and Shae I think would be exciting and well-balanced with size, skill and athleticism.
Please no to McCullar. He is so underwhelming. Does nothing at an NBA level, but gets a lot of respect. I'd rather take a project seven-footer. I do like Bona in the second. Crazy athlete and his strengths translate to the NBA.
McCuller dropping to the 2nd round is wild to me. That's not the only mock that thinks he drops that far. Injury concerns aside, you take him every time there. Him and Shead at #40 (or Bona) Would be fantastic for our defense.
We effectively flipped Telfair for Roy. Telfair also had a lot of preNBA hype, was short, and a poor shooter. If we can get a 6'3" lights out shooter then perhaps this team long term is better off to flip Scoot for someone with legit NBA size?
On a serious note I do wonder what Scoot value could be. He had a pretty bad rookie year but insane predraft hype, is still young, and did have some athletic flashes with real potential.
If we just draft Sheppard at 7 with no other moves on draft night it will be pretty hilarious to read the comments here; Sheppard Scoot Simons Brogdon Don't think I've ever heard of an NBA roster with 4 legit starters at one position before.
Yeah your probably right - and Sharpe would have to be a full time SF. PG Scoot Sheppard SG Ant Brogdon SF Sharpe PF Grant C Ayton
