Shit, Chicago won that trade in my opinion. All off court issues aside, Giddy is a baller.

I used to want to trade for him. But after watching him in the playoffs I am not sure what position he plays. I think he ends up being a backup PG...because he is not that great of a shooter, defender, or rebounder. He is still very young so who knows, but you think OKC would know.

Can't believe the Bulls gave up Caruso - good value for the Thunder getting rid of a player that didnt really fit their rotation for one of the best backups in the league.

Bulls GM -- welcome to the does not know shit club -- one of the worst trades I have seen in a long time.

On paper this looks bad for the Bulls, but Caruso is 30, The Bulls need to rebuild and Giddey is 22. Also, last year was the first year in Caruso's career where he played more than 70 games in a season (71)

In a couple of years this could look like a great trade for Chicago.

I think the Bulls are now going all out to trade ZL and start over.

The Bulls just seem to be going round in circles. Great move by OKC but it's still not enough to get past the elite teams in the West. I guess they'll have to hope one of their ten bazillion picks pays off...

His regular season stats are good, but in the playoffs (10 games) they played him fewer than 19 mpg. They played rookie Cason Wallace more!

It's a fit and role issue, he needs the ball more than he could get in OKC and frankly, the playoffs show his defensive issues.

But, he is young so could still get better, I suspect he will be able to be a ball handler a lot more on a rebuilding team which is what the Bulls are clearly going to be

Although the Bulls are still widely expected to re-sign Derozan...

Only downside for OKC is Caruso's age. He is probably past his prime physically. Giddey has the size + passing combo that is very rare imho.

Think it means that the Bulls don't think Lonzo will be able to stay healthy.

How can we fleece the Bulls? Can they send us their pick for a couple second rounders?

Let me expand on my OG post the reason I say this is that is ALL they got and they should have gotten some kind of pick from OKC too since they have a shit ton of them

One more thing -- SO SO SO happy Giddy got traded cause i was afraid Cronin would make a trade like this -- Not Kidding -- I legit thought he might be a Blazer this summer and Cronin would be this stupid.

At Small Forward, playing the Jeremy Grant role, it's... De Mar De Rozan...

Tell us why you think Cronin would be stupid adding a 22 year old (next year, he is still currently 21) with upside that would instantly be our best Small Forward.
