Everyone thought Phoenix would take Tyler Kolek. So they STILL don't have a point guard.

Will Collier drop out of the first round entirely? Is anyone left in the Green Room?

Collier and Holland are very un-Utah picks...

[Which is why Holland went to Detroit - duh. Williams is a slightly less un-Jazz pick.]

I bet having the second round on a second day will make the top pick in the second round a lot more desirable. Toronto gonna be fielding a lot of calls...

You're so right. I can't believe it wasn't Buzelis and Furphy.

Nah. It was Cody. Holland went at number 5 to the Pistons because they're allergic to shooters.

So far I think we've crushed the draft...the Wizards trade was a steal..we got that Nic Batum swiss army knife guy. I also like the 7'1 kid Clingan from UConn...he's going to give us a better bench

If two teams have an agreement on a trade that involves the draft, is there any reason it wouldn't already be announced? If a vet is involved, would contract guarantees or anything else affect a teams ability to announce it?

For my money, the Knicks (Villanova North) have won the offseason. Gave away a boat load, but got Bridges. Then got two of my favorite wings in Dadiet and George. The absolute worst part of this will be listening to Stephen A Smith's loud mouth when they win.

Oh shit! Joe just said we're committed to Scoot and Shaedon... no mention of Ant!

I honestly think that we probably have a few trades lined up for Ant and Jerami that will happen after the first day of free agency depending on where the marquee free agents end up. They just weren't mentioned when Joe gave his exit interview and again today they weren't mentioned. I think it was pretty clear that we will be holding onto Deandre or at the very least Joe wasn't trying to kill his trade value by saying that we want to move him.

Joe wanted something different. He got it. It's no longer a 6'7" and under team.

And that's why tomorrow we'll only be taking guys over 6'10". I know what you're thinking. Are there even two guys that are over 6'10" left in the pool of players that make sense inside of 40? The answer is, you're damn right there are. So we'll be getting Kyle Filipowski at 34, we saw what happened at pick 6 when the Grizz tried to take what we wanted, we told them to step the fuck off and they did. Then we'll take Chomche at 40. If anyone tries to take our guys, Joe showed us today that he knows how to handle that sort of thing.

Seriously though that was some weird shit. One second we definitely weren't getting the dude that all of the reporters had been saying we wanted since the lotto and then that trade is off and the dude falls to us. At the time I was a little disappointed because we do have a lot invested in the position that most experts have said is the least important in the league at this point but that kind of crazy thing where Memphis was jumping us to get him and then they weren't was something I've never seen.
