Still ignoring the bet. Come on dump. And no one here said Stamkos or Skjei were good and we missed them. Marchessault is NOT a PP only guy as a lot of his points came 5v5. But I wouldn’t expect a Drury knobslobberer like you to know that. 8 of 42 goals on the PP. Far less than Mika and Kreider that’s for sure. Kreider 18 of 39 came on PP (PP specialist). Mika 12 of 26 came on PP. YOU JUST SHOWED HOW LITTLE YOU KNOW. GO SIT IN A CORNER AND WAIT THIS ONE OUT LITTLE BUDDY!

Stars sign Dumba. And the Trouba deal is officially off now as Gustafsson just signed with the Wings for two years $2M per. Isles sign Duclair, another guy who maybe could have filled the RW opening, at least they are doing something.

$5M a year for a player not even half as good as Marchessault and it requires giving up a draft pick. Yep Dump, Drury knows his shit.

It’s almost like Drury put every single egg in the Trouba trade basket and then when that didn’t happen he didn’t know what to do. He was caught, once again, with his pants down. Becoming a broken record with this guy not getting things done and then scrambling around and making moves just say he made moves.

I think that’s true. Guys don’t want to play in NY. Stamkos probably likes Nashville and wanted to play in that city. Just like Kane likes Detroit. Yes that’s where the money was but the players have a choice where to play

Wow, talk about knowing the mind of a professional athlete....one thing we always hear....Hey, now that I won the cup (or any other professional sports championship...) I couldn't care less about winning it again!

HAHAHA Dump, you are truly next level stupid sometimes. It's really amazing.

March got $5.5M, and Drury's big move is trading a pick for a way worse player, who does sh*t for the team, for $5M per? Are you f'ing kidding me. That screams panic we missed out on everyone we have to do something move. This is like the trade DL all over again when he panicked and traded for useless Roslovic. Wow this guy has to go. Wake up Dolan.

Agreed, and it is 100% shown by the Reilly Smith deal, and the Roslovic deal at the trade DL. Panic moves after he missed on everyone good. The guy is a total joke.

Duclair at $3.5M per for four years is a solid signing by the Isles, I would MUCH prefer that than dealing a 2nd for Smith for $5M per. Jesus Drury is awful.

If you would have said to me, Drury's big move to address RW was trade a 2nd round pick for a whatever player like Reilly Smith, a guy who way underperformed for the Pens last season, I would have said no shot. But unfortunately, I underestimated how awful Drury is and worst of all with no plan whatsoever.

Your # 1 line - Kreider/Zibanejad/Smith. And your Captain hates Drury and the organization now. Nicely done Christopher.

Just saw it confirmed. Giving the Pens a 2nd round pick for a 33 year old. He does have a Cup, Cup experience and plays good in the playoffs but it is not a guarentee he will do the same with the Rangers. This was a fall back for Drury.

How is it Drury's fault for this mess when he wasnt the GM giving Trouba that contract, he wasnt the GM that resigned Kreider..

Sincere question, can anybody tell me what Drury is doing and what his plan is?

For a team that was close to a SC, with a lot of cap space he traded for useless Wennberg and Roslovic at the trade DL. He clears up cap space by getting rid of Goodrow only to deal a 2nd round pick for a totally whatever player Reilly Smith to be our # 1 RW, and he signs maybe a little better version of Bonino to be our 4th line C.

Please, I am sincerely asking, what is Drury's plan, because I just don't see it.

As I see it, the Smith move is a 100% replica of the panic Roslovic move he made at the trade DL. Oh, everything is gone, and I missed the boat, okay let's add crap to try and make up for it.

I didn’t say it was his fault for giving those guys that contract but it IS Drury’s fault for leaking to the press that he was trading Trouba without presumably talking with Trouba or even having Trouba’s list in hand. And why are you mentioning Kreider? I didn’t even bring him up. Did you respond to the right message Al? Because your response was way off topic to what I wrote.

Smith underperformed so much for the Pens last season, they scratched him a few times, and then moved him down in the lineup because he was so useless. I guarantee when Drury said I'll give you a 2nd rounder for him the Pens said OMG yes before you rethink it. They did backflips to get the $5M off their tight cap. That is one of the worst moves I have ever seen honestly considering that is the "fix" for the top line RW issues that have been around for a few years now. WOW.

And for the draft pick lovers, the Rangers have no 2nd round pick in 25, 26, and 27 (they also have no 3rd round pick in 25). What do they have to show for it???

Don’t like giving up a second round pick, but you can get those back if you go that route. Smith is a winner. He’s also clutch and he’s been historically a great playoff player. That’s what a president trophy winning GM does instead of overpaying for fucking retards.

I dont mind Smith. Pens retaining 25% on his salary. Need a Dman - cant play Jones and expect to beat the heavier teams.
