Not talking about the reasoning... just your statement that "They chose not to follow the rules that were clearly listed out to them." The rules about same-sex relations were also clearly listed out to those who engaged therein...in their case, even before they enlisted (as contrasted with those who refused the COVID vaccine, which didn't exist before they enlisted). Well, I'm basing my question on the statement above that they were convicted not of "being gay", but of "having same-sex relations". Is it not possible for someone to "be gay", yet not engage in gay sex?
For people who enlist today, WWIII doesn't exist. But according to a certain poster here, it is inevitable. So, free get out of the military card if they are ordered into combat? Was every gay person drummed out of the service caught in the act? Maybe, I really don't know. barfo
Are you seriously asking that? Do you cease to be straight when you are not in a relationship with a woman?
It was a rhetorical question to point out the disconnect between my point and barfo's response. I believe you are capable of analyzing the entire exchange logically.
Yes. But you know, gays and lesbians have been asked that very thing repeatedly. I have had it questioned if I am a lesbian because I have been single a long time. I once heard a friend say a person wasn't gay, he's a virgin. Most of us know who attracts us before we act on it. Now, about Biden....
No, actually, I didn't know gays have been asked that very thing. Because the very notion is absolutely ludicrous, it would never even enter my mind that someone could/would think such a thing.
FCC working on finalizing closing loophole that forces prisoners to pay exorbitant rates, as much as $11.35 a minute, on phone calls to friends and family. Contact with friends and family has a demonstrated positive impact on behavior during incarceration and reduces recidivism. Improving contact is a win for incarcerated people, their families, prison staff and society. Only loser is profits of telecom companies. Won't get as much attention as Trump rants but another small way people's lives can be improved.
Of course, Joe was referring to natural disasters that are a threat to humanity, but never waste a chance to put damning words into your opponent's mouth. Fortunately, Tulsi wants to run as VP to the "stable genius" who wanted to inject bleach and insert lights into folks as a cure for Covid. Tulsi and Marjorie are such great ambassadors for the women of the Republican Party.
Well........if you can ignore the insurmountable evidence that Trump is an incompetent, mentally unfit grifter (not to mention a convicted felon), I guess anything under the sun is possible, eh?
