My hope is Deandre loves it enough here to sign a team friendly deal.

I'm not sure anyone would call Keegan a "scoring" small forward. He's incredibly mediocre. I'd love to move Ayton and it wouldn't even take that much for me, but say no to Keegan. He's a career backup.

The chances that happens is the same one that Jody decides to sell the team this summer and that LeBron says screw my son I want to play in Portland for Vet's min

    so no chance in HELL

Send out Grant and Ayyton, bring in Ingram Rui filler and picks.

I'd look to then send out Ingram... feel like we'd get better value doing them as two separate trades. More teams can use a player like Ingram than Ayton.

Any trade ideas that actually return a player worth a bucket of spit? So tired of these ideas of sending out solid players for junk and a pick or two that could possibly turn into a decent player a few years down the road.

I think the idea is not to wait until 2029 or anything like that but to amass picks for trades like the one that brought Avdija here or hopefully one that lands a legit star prospect when Scoot, Shaedon and whoever else have shown us that they're ready to roll into the playoffs.

So I do not mind trading a win now guy for win later assets right now, in fact I will mind it if we don't do it.

Probably need to send out a draft pick for that, or find a Kyrie Irving type player that a team can buy low on right now.

Maybe bring in Miles Bridges? He's a great baller, but yeah beating your wife in front of the kids probably isn't great.

He's a very good player. If he has repented for his sins and that's good enough for Cronin and company, I'm okay with it.

I don't know what other buy-low options there are. I look at the teams trying to get better now. Rockets, Pistons, Pacers to name a few. All three have nice young players that could fit with what we're doing.

The Lakers seem to be running out of options. They have to feel the pressure to upgrade now. Just deal us Knecht and fillers and keep your other picks. He's 1 mid round pick.

No. As you said, he's just 1 mid-round pick; that's not enough for Grant.

We get 2 1s from LAL(and a few other picks need to switch teams)

Lyles and/or DLo get sent out or bought out?

So I'm the last person to say lets run it back with Jerami and Ant hogging the ball, going iso and fucking up the development of the guys I expect to be here when we get back in the playoffs... but if the other option is gifting the Lakers Jerami for a guy whose ceiling is JJ Redick and whose likely landing spot is Tim Legler. I say lets run that shit back.

I want Joe to move Jerami and Ant. I think there are likely moves to be made where we get a fair return for those guys. It's suspicious to me that Joe keeps on coming up empty when other GMs can make moves that make sense for their roster. With all of that said these are good players that have to have value in this league so there is no fucking way we should be giving them away for shit like Knecht. I'm cool if Knecht is part of the return with an unprotected first and filler players that may be flipped for some second rounders but Nah man we shouldn't just fucking give Jerami to a team where he could mean the difference between contention and a first round exit.

I don't hate it and I think both Lyles and DLo could be flipped for second rounders. I don't think they would need to be bought out. I would hope to find another team for Ingram, don't really love the idea of him being a leader on this young team. I think he would probably thrive more on a team with established guys leading him closer to his potential and maybe we pick up a couple more unprotected firsts for him.

Knecht is potentially the missing piece to our long term starting 5. Most mocks had him as a top 10 pick. We don't really want Grant anyway. If we could get a prospect like Knecht for him, I'd say take it and run.

We only acquired him for a 1st round pick, that will likely be rather late (the Bucks next year). So how much has his stock grown now that he's older and on a large contract?

Laker fans seem to be pumped about adding DDR and I don’t get it. He can’t shoot.
