Not accurate. Several other teams have been linked with Grant, although not as consistently as LAL. And, as someone else said, the Blazers don't have to move him immediately.

Just like last year with Dame, the Heat were the team that were under pressure to make a move. The Lakers are the team in that position this year.

Portland - Utah - LA Lakers

3-team deal that makes everyone happy?

    Markkenan to Portland?

    Grant to LA?

    Simons to Utah?

other players & picks to facilitate?

Ok it's not accurate but if so how -- what other teams ?...

Mavs -- Klay -- do not need Grant
    Kings - DeMarr -- ditto
Warriors -- I think after a few recent deals not likely
Philly -- PG -- really do not need

So WHO ?? If your going to make a statement so absolute then tell me who -- this is something i have learned to try and do -- doing blanket statements is not a good argument / comeback most of the time. I should know I have been guilty of this many times and am trying not to do it as much so again -- WHO ?? or what team and tell me why that team

This is the kind of TP that would need more to it — players and picks — but it’s a framework.
The main problem with this is Portland needs to lose an epic number of games next season. Markkanen could help screw that up.

    Grant can't rebound & doesn't play defense...

Clippers dont have the contracts or assets

Bucks only option is a Kris Middleton swap

Pels seem like the best option as part of an Ingram trade

Wemby + Markkanen + Zach with Sochan, Kelden Johnson and Devin Vassell....all with CP3 directing?

that would not be the Spurs tanking at all

kind of confusing why the Pels would trade Ingram to add Grant

The word is the Pels and Ingram are far apart on negotiations, so he’s on the block. Grant matches their win-now timeline and costs less now and moving forward.

So your question is who?!? There are a ton of playoff teams that could use an upgrade at wing that Jerami would provide but the better question is who else are the Lakers going to get that makes more sense for them? The answer is no one.

We'll see what happens but I think Joe and Pelinka are playing a game of chicken and that game will stop once they meet face to face in Vegas next week. I think the Lakers aren't likely to pony up both their 2029 and 2030 FRPs but I could definitely see something with DLo or Rui going to a third team that gets Joe the two firsts he's looking for.

The question then moves to Ant. Did him saying he wants to win now mean anything? Did Joe mentioning our two young guards and not mentioning Ant mean anything? Finally does Highkin's report that after Jerami the front office will move onto finding Ant a knew home mean anything? I think the answer to all three of those questions is yes.

I think it depends on who is used as the likely third team in the Jerami trade but after Jerami is traded I think Joe has multiple spots for Ant. Even if Jerami isn't traded to the Lakers and goes somewhere else like the Pels. I think Joe has multiple contingencies for both guys.

Maybe he doesn't but we'll know sooner than later. I still predict we'll enter training camp without Ant and Jerami, even younger and with more future first round picks.

I just can’t see Ant and BI on the same roster, that would be insane with the same baby momma.

    I will say a lineup of…

    Scoot
    Sharpe
    Deni
    BI
    Clingan

Would be pretty nice(BI being the old guy at 26, almost 27) We can’t have a roster of all 19-23 year olds and he’s 3.5 years younger than Grant. Long shot but I like his game.

Because Ingram would cost a lot more to extend and they are desperate to stay under the tax limit.

But, if Portland and the Pels do business, it will be for a center IMHO. I suspect they want to deal Ingram and run a herb jones, Murphy tandem next to Murray and Zion. They need a center and Portland has extras.

Would the Blazers want to offer Ingram the max next off season? I doubt they are interested in that.

Ingram is a bit of an enigma to me. From purely a basketball viewpoint he would be a great addition for many teams. The Blazers included. Already an all-star who is just entering his prime. Teams should be lining up to get him. But they are not. Why is that?
It is certainly not his skill set. Unless there are some off-court concerns I would roll the dice on him as long as it doesn't cost us our future.......considering he is a free agent.

Dude is always injured. Nice offensive player, but that's it.
