    Remember how we brought Dalton Knecht in for his own private workout? You probably don't remember a guy called Daeqwon Plowden who was one of those "throw-in" guys in a group workout for a name player. Well, one of those two is looking good in Summer League...

    My thing with Knect is that he's an old shotmaker that has solid but not great physical tools that doesn't stand out as a positive in any other area of the game.

    I don't think he thinks the game at a super high level and I'm pretty confident his defense is going to be a negative. Not active or instinctive, doesn't navigate screens well...movement wise he's just not very good laterally or changing direction. He's strong and has decent length but there's not much to bank on on that end.

    I don't know, his offense May be good enough to keep him in NBA rotations for a while, but his pathway to success is very narrow imo

    I just had a thought...I remember back in the 80's and 90's, when summer leagues were only talked about on Court side Monday night (or Monday Night Court side, depending on which mandella effect you apply to).

    There was no social media, no video clips, no highlights, no podcasts...just Steve Jones, Pat Lafferty, Mike Rice or Scott Lynne talking about stuff vaguely.

    I *hated* the dog days of the off season. Now I just dislike it strongly.

    Oh they did. I used to check them every night after the game. I'd look to see how ZBO did. He was tearing up the league with 30 point, 20 rebound games.

    There was box scores for Bonzi and Jermaine. I don’t think summer league existed in the 80s.
