Pentagon is what i meant. They’ve failed multiple audits over the years to the tune of a few trillion in unaccounted for assets each time. The point is trillions of dollars in taxpayers money going missing and the US government pretending to not know where it went.
Oh, yeah, that makes more sense. The defense budget is where at least 10% of our tax dollars go. Of course, that's largely at conservative initiative. The neo-conservative movement drove it way up and, although MAGA claims to want to stay out of foreign conflicts, Project 2025 clearly states an increase in defense spending at the expense of domestic spending, which seems kind of weird.
This is about as valid as all the psychologists/psychiatrists "diagnosing" Trump from 2016 through 2020. The guy had obvious mental deficiencies but his supporters didn't care, nor did it stop him from running for reelection. Joe could be lying in a coffin and I'd still vote for him over the other mental midget....
My mother went to the emergency room 12 years ago. She was having labored breathing, confusion and was very careful in her movements, among other things. They had three different specialists look at her. All three specialists diagnosed her with something that was specific to their specialty. One was a neurologist, who said my mother had Parkinson's. These doctors never had seen her before, yet all three concluded the cause of her problems was something in their specific field of expertise. And she was put on medicine specific to that ... as ordered by all three specialists. In none of the three cases had she had anything close to what the specialists diagnosed just a couple of months earlier when she had her annual checkup. She got better and came home but developed a concerning issue where her blood pressure would drop whenever she'd stand up and she'd faint. Her doctor and the home nurse wanted her to be put into a nursing home. I read up on this Parkinson's medication she was on. One side effect was low blood pressure. I couldn't talk her doctor into taking her off the medicine, but, while she was back at the hospital, my doctor was working rounds on her floor and I got him to take her off it. In a half-week, the "Parkinson's" she supposedly had didn't return and her blood pressure returned to normal. She returned home and was just fine. It turned out that all three specialists were wrong. She had a UTI initially, and a glandular issue was resulting in her not getting enough adrenaline. The neurologist based his diagnosis on watching her walk. He never looked at her medical history, never considered that this was a woman in her mid-80s with arthritis who was experienced trouble walking the night he saw her because she had a UTI and pneumonia. Nope, the answer to her problem had to be a something in his field. The other two specialists did the same thing. As a result, she got a mix of conflicting drugs that made a half-year of her life absolute misery. Anyway, I'm not very moved by random doctor saying this is what's going on with Biden on a TV show trying to generate ads and ratings. If he came on there and explained to me why Biden was trying to overthrow the government and promising to suspend the Constitution if re-elected, I might be more concerned, but last I looked, that wasn't a thing with Biden. It is with the other guy, though, and that's the only thing that matters.
BTW, despite Mum's confusion, not once did she go off in a conversation about a super-powerful boat battery and a shark.
Like the comic in the video I posted earlier said. I'd crawl across a pit of broken glass to vote against Trump. Biden could be in the hospital on life support and I wouldn't hesitate to vote for him over Trump.
Yeah. If I'm on a sinking boat in the sea the last thing I'm worried about is a battery. Regardless of size.
we get it their are some of you who would vote for anything other then Trump. Do you have to post it 4 times a day in three different threads. I cant wait for November its not a popularity vote. it comes down to 7 swing states. watch those polls to see who will win.
I do find it funny that some people online are assuming Joe Biden will be deeply moved by an op-ed written by Clooney of all people. And that Obama "letting it happen" wasn't Barack half asleep on the phone waiting for the conversation to end. That being said, I just caught the last 45 seconds of his NATO address...and he introduced Putin as the president of Ukraine. Caught himself, and clearly had Putin on the brain, but still, that wasn't great.
You can get five of those every ten minutes of a Trump rally AND an insurrection for a chaser. And perhaps a Guinness world record for lies and vague jingoistic statements.
As long as people keep attacking Biden I'll keep repeating that it doesn't matter as long as the alternative is Donald Trump. It is critical that Trump not win.
I had literally just caught the last 45 seconds, and it would've washed over me if I didn't do the "...Putin?" double take at the end. It was a gaffe, and let's be honest here, Joe is under an electron microscope right now. It was just notable to me that the only part of his speech I caught was the botched ending. When they went to the ABC panel after Zelenskyy was done speaking, it was the only thing they complained about. I assume it was a business as usual speech otherwise.
He might be under the microscope, but his opponent a couple of months ago kept calling him "Obama" and confused Nancy Pelosi with Nikki Haley. Donald Trump also thought E. Jean Carroll was one of his ex-wives. Holding Biden to a certain standard is very fair. I believe we should hold anyone in public positions to that. However, we're holding him to an impossibly high standard right now with the threat of political death for any misstep, and Trump's been guilty of even worse gaffes and is a convict and an insurrectionist and a terrible public servent on top of that and we're holding him to the standard of being hired as our paper boy. That's my point. And when we who know better give oxygen to that unequal narrative, we disrespect ourselves and disservice our countrymen.
