Sounds an awful lot like what you said. But I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to you just being a primadonna and greatly exaggerating Trumps torment of your family.

I could never imagine some loser in the White House, on either side, ‘affecting’ my family to the point where I’d whine like this.

And there are three consecutive examples of someone boasting about their own L without realizing it. No self-awareness at all.

    Not even close, brah.

Trump is up there. Along with Hoover and Ford.

I’d put Reagan toward the worst as well. He was really the start of douchebag conservative policy.

To be fair Biden isn’t worse than Wilson. Wilson is my vote for worst, hands down.

Oregon U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden weighs in on Biden, 2024 presidential race

Ron sounds just like a politician. A lot of words, very little substance.

Ron has actually done a TON for the state of Oregon over the past few decades. But you knew that right?

But in a world that has no shades of grey, or if he does one thing that I disagree with or it goes against my personal interpretation of how things are done in government (and only I have the correct understanding of things) then he's no better than someone like Mitch McConnell or Neil Goldschmidt.

Even he does look like Super Dave Osborne, and he bit the head off of a bat once, so he's scum.

Well, when his worshippers show up in public beating people they don't like (who are walking through the park, or waiting at the bus stop) it's a problem.

When there are wildfires caused by wind and lightning and his QAnon followers feel empowered enough to blame Antifa and BLM then set up armed checkpoints in Molalla, Estacada, etc, and threaten people trying to drive through who don't "look like they're from around here". Wonder how they know what people around there look like? Maybe skin too dark?

And those are just a few examples of the assholes Trump empowers making life more dangerous and miserable for everyone.

Well, unless they look like themselves, right?

Still have yet to see what policies would put Biden in the category of "worst of all time".

I was told the country wasn't racist before Obama, and it's all his fault. Oh and you can only be racist against white Christian men.

So I can understand why people don't think trumps behavior can be seen as intimidating or bullying, since they only people who are intimidating and bullies are liberals.

I mean, which party was in favor of slavery and which party made up most of the Confederate States?

Abraham Lincoln was a Republican, and he freed the slaves. Robert Byrd was racist and a democrat. And notice that we're a constitutional *republic*.

I'll take your apology on the air.

Biden hit all the right notes at Michigan rally. Talked of accomplishments. Warned what Trump has planned. Acknowledged age issue but said he mixes up names, Trump is a felon. Explained not enough to be against someone, you have to be for something and laid out goals for a second term. When pro Palestinian protesters interrupted he said let them speak. Then said new agreement being ironed out because war on Gaza has to end. He was fighting Joe. Said when knocked down get back up. Crowd loved it.
That is what people need. Doubters like him but need convincing.

Yeah that Michigan rally was pretty good. Wanted to mention it to give Joe some credit after player hating for a week straight. I stay out of the Russia/Ukraine/Gaza threads mostly because I am very anti-war, lean isolationist; and have Libertarian priors. I'd get eaten alive! But I really think Project 2025 being the headliner has buried the fact that if Trump gets another term, Netanyahu and the right wing lunatics in Israel can do whatever they please in Gaza. Biden hasn't done nearly enough to restrain Israel, but at least he has a limit.

I don't know how much Biden is really running the show. People hyper-focus on the president but there's a large power structure aside from him. But he's clearly the most cognitively impaired president we've ever had. He's issued several illegal executive orders that have had to be stuck down by the courts. His corruption is blatant. The border issue alone, how he willingly encouraged and enabled it makes him a traitor to the country.

    This is a joke, right?

His predecessor was even more cognitively impaired, did not have the proper support structure around him, failed miserably handling COVID (which cost millions of Americans their lives or health) and at getting his key-issue wall built, then he took the unprecedented step of trying to overthrow the election. He's promised to at least suspend the Constitution if he gets another term. THAT'S traitorous. Not having a border policy that you disagree with. Trying to take over the country with an armed mob is traitorous.

Anyone that can't recognize that needs to have their cognitive functions tested.

And, please, "illegal executive orders"? Good lord, do you know anything about how this country works? Every president issues executive orders and SCOTUS strikes down a few of them. By your definition, that means every president is engaging in illegality and therefore a traitor. And just don't casually ignore that the court currently is stacked against Biden by three Trump judges who were placed because Mitch McConnell circumvented more than 200 years of precedent from strictly partisan reasons.

Do yourself a favor. Take a civics course before your next post here. You're reaching a point where you're showing everyone you don't understand how the U.S. Constitution or government operate and that you hold some pretty unbecoming personal character traits on top of that.

You were obviously still the mistake in your daddy's left testicle during the 1980's. They were called "the Reagan Years" That was when we had the "most cognitively impaired president we've ever had". He didn't have good people around him and 40 years later the bill for his/their bullshit has come due, with a shit ton of interest. Trump doesn't have good people around himself either. Competence matters, regardless of who is wielding it.
