A retired neighbor is a lifelong member of the steamfitters union. Yesterday, he put up a large Trump flag. My guess, this is payback because Biden cancelled the pipeline project. He put a very large number of steamfitter union workers out of a job. Which also raised gas prices.
Nothing says blindness and selfishness like benefiting their entire life from a union and then supporting the non-union candidate once they've retired. Also, anyone who knows anything knows canceling the Keystone Pipeline didn't raise gas prices. Gas prices were stable until Russia invaded Ukraine. This seems like pretty simple stuff... Not to mention that gas prices were depressed when Biden took office due to COVID. I'd prefer that Russia didn't invade Ukraine, one benefit would be lower prices in general, including gas prices. I'm not interested in going back into COVID to depress gas prices.
