Despite what your information bubble wants you to believe the price of gas is based completely on supply and demand. Inflation is something that surged because of Covid. Corporations became accustomed to the level of profit they were getting and shareholders pressured them to keep bringing in the margins they were getting during the pandemic. Inflation in the U.S. is very tame compared to the rest of the world. They’re all envious of how well our economy has bounced back. Guess who wants to give those corporations that are gouging the consumer even more tax breaks?

Our gas prices are the lowest free market prices in the world and inflation has been among the lowest in the world as well.. I'm not a fan of Biden's, but let's be real. He has been a far better president than Trump was. I've already advocated for fixing the primaries and election and campaign systems in the US, with specific changes I'd support. So you'll get no pushback from me on that front.

I mean, a different situation entirely lmao but Eugene Debs ran for president doing a 10 year bid for protesting WW1 in the 1920 elections. Got a million votes on a socialist party ticket. He had already been in prison in the 1890s, 6 months for defying a court order during a union strike. I'd vote for a convicted felon, but it has to be the right convicted felon.
