    Maybe they aren't flippable. I would assume that they have inquired about a 3-way.

    IF Reddish was swapped out for Knecht? Portland gets a 1st and and recent 1st. Lakers give out only 2029 unconditional. I'm good with it.

    I'd do it for Rui, a 1st and both their 25 2nds. Reddish would be immediately cut. Not sure if we could flip Vincent or Rui elsewhere.

    This needs more attention. Zach doesn't just throw away comments like that on his podcast. This seems like a badly kept secret that Grant ends up in LA.

    I wonder if we're waiting for some deadline to pass.

    How soon can Dalton be traded after singing his deal?

    If your right about those limits I'd tend to agree. The Duncd on prime podcast with Hollinger and Duncan a few weeks ago made it sound like the extension could be much higher.

    Now that I think about it, I think the idea was Utah could use cap space to increase his salary this season and then also increase those extension years so Markannan wouldn't be giving up anything.

    He signed that late on July 9th? Usually rookies sign closer to the first day which is July 1st.

    IIRC, in the off-season the 15 man limit doesn't apply. Teams can have up to 20 players under contract. So the trade would be legal until the regular season. That's when the 15 man limit kicks in

    Rui/Vincent/Knecht combined make about $6K more than Grant/Walker. Tough to get a closer salary match than that.
