That is one of many reasons.

Did you happen to get a 75 cent ice cream cone at Little America?

The new people moving here from out of state change their plates like day 1, and start wearing painfully obvious outfits to try and fit in. A person wearing brand new, spotless western workwear who absolutely cannot pull it off is a painful, painful sight. It’s like a strange inverse of the Steve Buscemi skateboard meme.

You are from Oregon though? Did you ever go hunting here? We have pretty great hunting too.

Lots to like about Wyoming. But, I could never live there.

I can handle very extreme weather. But, the wind in Wyoming is too much.

You lived in Oregon right? Ever make it out to the gorge and feel that wind?

I am. Born and raised in Newberg/Sherwoood. I moved out here when i was 17 and didn’t get into hunting until my 20’s. I have buddies back home who hunt Oregon but I never have.

Hunted in Oregon for 4 decades. It was good hunting 30 to 50 years ago. But no more.

    I mean, I wasn't hunting 30 to 50 years ago and I've enjoyed it.

I have many relatives who hunt in Oregon and they beg to differ.

I have a freezer full of ground elk that my cousin supplies me with every year.

Fished the gorge many times. The gorge is one big horizontal windy chimney. But, we could still fish most days in a boat.

In Wyoming, you would get blown off of the water much more often.

Public land hunting in Oregon is horrible compared to hunting in Wyoming and Idaho.

Most of the good hunting in Oregon is on private land.

The big deal is the government being able to render you obsolete and remove you from the financial world with a few keystrokes. You may think this is good because they are only doing this to “bad guys”. Well, a certain government may just deem you the bad guy for the way you think or the opinions you have. When you relinquish power to a government you think is benign, that same power is held by the next government and the next who may not be. We are still subject to the “temporary” draconian abomination that is the Patriot Act in the year 2024, as just one example. Every administration left, center or right has clutched that power and voted to reinstate it time and time again for over 20 years.

While your opinion of government and elites is not favorable (and thats good), I still think you are giving them way too much credit. You say they are just trying to make a buck while holding it all together. I say they are looting a ship they themselves set ablaze and trying to escape in time to watch the rest of us sink with it.

I'm sorry you disrespect my profession, but I do want to reassure you that the women will not be sinking with your ship.

I have a copy of Kamala Harris’s @KamalaHarris’s birth certificate. Nowhere on her birth certificate does it say that she is BLACK OR AFRICAN.

    Kamala is a liar.

Donald Trump is correct. Kamala Harris is NOT black and never has been.

She is also the descendent of slave owners.

Kamala Harris is the daughter of Donald J Harris, who was born in Jamaica, and Shyamala Gopalan Harris from India.

Kamala Harris’s four-times-paternal-great-grandfather is a guy named Hamilton Brown . He was born in Co Antrim in 1776, the same year of the US Declaration of Independence. Brown emigrated to Jamaica when it was a British colony, and once he arrived, he became an avid slave owner on the sugar plantations in Jamaica.

Hamilton Brown opposed the abolition of slavery in the British Empire and promoted slavery and slave ownership till the day he died.

See Kamala Harris’s birth certificate below.
