Scoot and Sharpe would have been the worst shooting backcourt in the NBA last season

It’s not worth fucking answering and you know that. Neither you nor I am on the staff. Maybe he was sad Dame was traded. Maybe he was sad Ant was injured in game one. How about he wasnt getting good sleep like Ayton. Who the fuck knows. Maybe he was just in a slump. Fucks sake. What we do know is that in the five games prior to getting injured he was finally shooting well. Overall he was an effective player. Nobody has made an excuse for his subpar shooting to start last season. Everyone knows when he was hurt and playing 10 games injured contributed to his deflated stats. I posit that had he not got hurt you would have little to complain about as his percentages were trending up prior to injury. Sharpe will be fine, but we can sleep well here at S2 knowing we have you to let us know if Sharpe has a bad shooting game like every other 19/20 year old has. Cheers

I don't waste my time arguing with the disingenuous. You may move along to someone else. Thanks.

One is a rookie and came into the league not having a shot really and the other played what 25 to 30 ish games and struggled for various reasons. If this happens again then I might be worried but this story goes the same place as Grant , Ant and Ayton might get traded --- the garbage can

Context matters. For those who watched last season, it was clear he was overplayed because they other guards went down. Then he got injured. Then we pulled him and he sat out.

i dont know why people put these half hazard stats together as if scoot and sharpe played together last season. How many games did they play together to build synergy?

sorry but this is a waste of time to discuss….

You're the one that posted to me in the other thread about your dumb DBPM stats, which are so flawed you looked silly, and now here....I love posters like you that try push back at someone and end up with your foot in your mouth.

So yes, you can move along now.

    Next!

what? YOU said he was hurt and that was the reason his numbers suffered....then I just simply asked then why was his stats bad in the month he wasn't injured...and you cant answer because its the damn truth. then rambled on....

Overall he wasn't effective and the stats show that, but ok..

We should put Scoot and Sharpe's picture on a Flagg and fly it at games.

    Sharpe 2nd season:
    40% FG, 33% 3pt

    Simons 2nd season:
    40% FG, 33% 3pt

I don't quite understand this thread. But I won't intervene in the battle royal. I'll simply add it takes some patience when NBA teams are developing young players.

Why did Sharpe's numbers regress from playing next to Damian Lillard compared to what he had this year? Is that a real question?

Not to mention the typical sophomore slump...

Though it is interesting how both guys shoot better when they are on the court together at the one and two.

Unfortunately that didn't happen as much as it could have... It's almost like they play better together than when they're playing with a bunch of vets who are playing ISO basketball and showboating, mostly making late, bailout passes once they have no other options...

Hey I have an idea! Maybe we should trade the vets for a draft capital and see what we have in Sharpe and Scoot?!?!

That just came to me out of nowhere...

I heard it's a must have top 4 draft. If a different tanker gets Flagg, it will be important to showcase the other draft icons. More pictures on the Pinwheel flag is recommended.

How many minutes did Dame and Sharpe actually play together last season? Do you even know? Sharpe also played very well the last 10 games or so of his first season, WITHOUT Dame.

Stop using that silly narrative. The sophomore one too. Dame didn’t suffer from that, neither did Aldridge. And many others. Tons of PG’s do struggle their first year, while performing a lot better their second season. So calling a sophomore slump is just excuses.

The rest is the same ole stuff you been harping on, spinning in any way negativity except for the numbers that is facts.

Battle Royals are fun when you spin it on the negative Nancy’s and give them a taste of their own medicine.

and Simons was playing garbage time and not much of a factor for us. And Sharpe regression in shooting stats are alarming, if you can’t see that then you and others are delusional. He needs to improve and this is a big season coming up for him, facts!

And the fact that they both shoot better with each other on the court and not with Simons (according to the numbers) is not a consideration for you.

Hey look! I found a clip of you in your living room when Simons checks in.

agree. sharpe and scoot need to understand that they need to improve as young players, or else!

Once again, you just keep doing the same thing over and over, trying to pull shit out of your ass randomly.

Scoot and Sharpe both shot better when playing together? WHAT!!!

Sharpe played 23 games with Scoot. His numbers are only SLIGHTLY improved, he shot FG %42.7 and 3PT- 35.4%..Those numbers are still gross and only a tiny improved, and still off from his first year. And guess what, most of the game those two played together were WITHOUT Ant!

Now on to Scoot, you also said he shot better playing with Sharpe...once again wrong, as per usual with you. His shooting numbers were actually worst lol...FG of %35.8 and 3pt- 25.8%

Yes, I already said I give Scoot a pass being a young rookie and etc.

But it stands once again, you don't know what you're talking about and I think you need to take a break from this discissions until you can make some common sense.
