I’m guessing Bucks are getting little desperate I’ll take another unprotected 1st rounder. Teams around them keep adding pieces
Yeah I want that 2031 unprotected Bucks pick. I don't think Grant for Middleton is enough of an upgrade for it but maybe if we get them better depth too? We then try and flip Lopez/Middleton elsewhere.
Ah that makes more sense.... but it's not really news. There was other reports of Dame pushing hard for GTJ last week.
Some context: weber state has been putting up horse statues with notable people on it all around town apparently.
With all what just happened in NY Knicks... Just one old, old question. How can Knicks players take less money to play with guys they want to play with and it was IMPOSIBLE for Dame to do?
The Knicks already had the players. Brunson didn't take less money to play with some theoretical guys. He took less money to make it easier to keep their team together in the future and if a trade comes up that would take them to another level, his taking less money makes that option available under the new CBA. Why would Dame have taken less money??? So we could sign all of the free agents clamoring to be here? This is a Dame hating clown question.
1. Dame earned every penny he got from the Blazers. He polished a lot of turd rosters. 2. Are you forgetting what Olshey did when he had cap space? Dame saved Olshey from himself.
1. The Knicks just acquired all Villanova players - you really want the Blazers to acquire all Weber State players? 2. Aren't you forgetting KELJIN BLEVINS!?!?!?
With Brunson, his taking less money now also has the effect of making him eligible for an uber-extension in 3 years or whatever it is. He's banking on staying healthy, filling out a championship caliber roster in the short-term, and signing for nearly $90M/yr not long after. He's probably getting by okay on endorsements in NYC, as well.
I was in Ogden a few days before this news and can confirm the multiple horses around downtown. Didn’t expect a Dame horse 1 week later.
