Well apparently this lady started out playing really well and then played a bit better and then decided to keep playing well after the league decided she wasn’t good enough to play in the Olympics. Now she seems to have developed a bad habit of turning the ball over.
The league didn't decide she wasn't good enough for the Olympics. She wasn't able to try out for the Olympic team because she was busy playing in college. She had never even practiced with the Olympic team. How good she was or was not wasn't really a consideration.
As much heat as Team USA has taken for it I feel like it's worth pointing out. I wouldn't even say it's a bad joke. It's just worth pointing out is all.
A'ja Wilson just set the all-time WNBA single-season scoring record (with 4 games to go), and is 28 behind Reese for the all-time single-season record for rebounds. With all the attention CC has received, it feels like A'ja's historic season has been under-recognized.
