    Character actor John Ashton passed away at 76 after a battle with cancer.

    He is perhaps best known for his role as John Taggart in the Beverly Hills Cops movies, the last of which came out earlier this year.

    It was great to see him in the new Beverly Hills Cop movie but he didn't look well.

    LOL. Jokes’s on me. I totally misread the name. Hey, I’m on vacation and traveling. I get a little slack. Glad to hear Gomez, err, John Astin is still with us.
