Twitter cut off the bottom of the schedule. When you look at the entire post it makes a little more sense. But it's still an odd design choice. With OSU being a leader in rebuilding the Pac 12, branding and design is very important. No logo, mascot or consistency in big announcements like this hurts OSU, IMO.
What's awesome is there will be 7 home games next year. Which means another year of essentially a free game for season ticket holders.
What's not awesome is 4 straight weeks of home games to try to attend in October and November. I like having weeks off from going down there throughout the season.
Again, while I'm a Duck fan, I've been a Beaver fan longer. My 8th, freshman, and varsity basketball coaches I wrote Ralph Miller and got them signed pictures. Also a good friend of mine in high school became QB1 for OSU. I could easily go to a Beaver game and cheer louder for the Beavers than you could. It's what Lanny would want.
There are two teams on there that I’m not sure are even D1? Thats strange. Like I KNOW teams like Ohio State and Michigan are D1…. Oh my bad….this is a Beaver thread……as you were.
Still not sure how I feel about the H&H between the Cougs and Beavs. Obviously it's a one time situation and will probably never happen again. Part of me thinks it is kind of cool and novel, while another part is sad that we couldn't find a little better solution. Overall pretty impressed by the ability of both schools to toss something together amidst all the chaos that resembles a decent looking slate of games.
Recruiting with Andrew Nemec. His show was last night. He covers the Beavers at the 36 min mark. https://www.audacy.com/podcast/recr...des/recruiting-with-andrew-nemec-102424-b6db3
Oh I care about the Beavers…..I live in Oregon. Just don’t root for them when they play the Ducks. What does that have to do with them playing ITT Technical Institute next year?
