I don't believe for a second that Kelly (or the majority of people who worked for Trump [including Bill Barr who wasn't fired, but quit]) is lying about Trump.
It seems you missed the obvious connection that the establishment has already proven that people will come out in spades to lie in order to hurt Trump, and most of those had no real reason to have a personal Vendetta against Trump as Kelly did.
