Politics Official 2024 Presidential Election Thread

We all survived 4 years with Trump before and we will again. We survived 4 years with Biden/Harris. The sky isn't falling as so many of you assume. The doom and gloom mentality isn't how I choose to live. I'm going to hope for the best and hope in 4 years we finally have 2 candidates worth supporting & voting for and all this will be behind us and we get some real progress.

 

I’m here for the shit show.

Will be an entertaining 4 years.

I hope the predictions of economists and military leaders doesn’t hold true.

You can have that Pollyanna attitude all you want, but I am 70 years old and 4 more years is a long time. Democracy has been swirling the bowl for more than a few years but it got flushed down the drain last night. I can now say that I have lived long enough to see the end of the so-called Great American Experiment. We are now officially a banana republic, where the law doesn't matter anymore. Welcome to the Felon Rapist President......and the "great" America he is going to dump on us.......a country of brain dead fools.

 

It mattered because of how badly she lost those states. It was obvious. Not sure how everyone didn’t see it as soon as Florida was called immediately.

That doesn't make it tougher. Nobody waits until election day to mail in their vote. That would have a bearing on any election.

There are better candidates who could beat Trump. The DNC and Dem leadership simply doesn't want those kind of candidates.

 

And even if they did wait until the last day, if the last day to mail it in were the prior day they would mail it by that day.

Or simply have USPS deliver all ballots directly to the central ballot drop location on election day. Again, it would be one trip per USPS station.

This is very easily solvable.
