Wasn't he supposed to shoot someone on 5th Avenue instead?

Numbers disagree with you. If all the Stein voters voted the other way, Trump would have still won.

My vote is irrelevant since I vote in California. The chastising from Democratic voters is really something to look at for years to come. They do it every time they march a garbage candidate up there and try to make you eat it.

I'm not voting out of fear anymore. Give me a reason to vote for you or not. Every 4 years Democrats say this is the most important election of our lifetimes and offer next to nothing. People are tired of being gaslit. If you don't want Demigods like Trump, demand better candidates who offer to actually help people.

When? When was there a genocide happening under Trump? Just curious. I can understand thinking he won't be any better but where did we already see it?

Don't you think these types of statements backfire? How many years has this threat been occurring.....from both parties? Massive cuts to social security seem unlikely when it would be an automatic death sentence for any politician who voted for it.

We have seen what a shitty president he is. He is also good pals with Netanyahu. He is going to let him wipe Palestine and Iran off the map. You think he cares?

They could. The Republicans have been talking about doing this for awhile. They want to get rid of social security and privatize retirement. They haven't been able to because of slim majorities or being in the minority. Also, being loud about it like this, stops them from doing it. They can't very well do it and get away with it with people screaming they are going to do it.

Musk not being a politician or someone with any history of civil service has to be considered here.

Trump doesn't care. He's got four years to make as much money as he can. He's in it for the grift. He wants to turn Gaza into a resort and put up a Trump Plaza in Moscow. Elon's not going to run for anything. His whole career has been buying stuff and using his resources to make it make more money for him than it could have for its developer. He's a cost-cutter with his businesses.

I just find it hilarious that the moment it turns out he's probably going to be put in a really important public position now his first thing is to ask people to be easy on him because things are going to be rough for a while. Mr. Post Anything At All On Twitter now is asking for prudence and tolerance.

Some of these people, I think, are starting to figure out what they've stepped in to and a lot of people like me have said "OK, you said it'd be easy, so run it now."

Your opinions are not only hypothetical, they directly contradict Trumps first term. The Democrats actions the last 4 years are tangible and measurable. You could vote for a rock and at least have the small chance of getting something different. Democrats have already shown what they were about and didn’t offer any change.
It’s kind of a no brainer.

Mmm Hmm. Yeah i’m the one patronizing. Never an introspective thought with you guys huh? Always looking outward for the blame.

I suppose it could help. But it also could backfire. Trying to scare the shit out of everyone on every topic, regardless if it's true, seems counterproductive.

The problem with "The Boy Who Called Wolf" (in this case Nate Lerner who is a Democratic Strategist from NY) is that people start tuning it all out when things don't happen as promised. Then when a legitimate concern occurs not enough people are paying attention.

Look I really hate defending Trump in any way, but at the same time, I really don't want another 4 years like last time where people, like my neighbors, went ape shit on everything. For example, they were scared to death that Trump would start a nuclear war with North Korea. Then they were pissed that he "legitimized their regime" by meeting with them at a summit.

I just think people need to be more selective with their scare tactics, otherwise, it just gives more fodder to news cable shows to make fun of when it doesn't happen.

If you look outward you see what's right in front of your eyes. If it's truly fucked up you'll probably blame it for being truly fucked up..Most folks can handle that without turning into Karens. You might want to look beyond a basketball msg board for folk's introspective contemplations though, just sayin'
