You know what? I never thought life was fair, but I always was willing to pay it ahead and try to make it fair or fairer for who came next. It was at least about having a fair playing field. It needn't be completely equal, because nothing is, but everyone should at least have a shot, and even those that fail shouldn't be left behind completely.

I just see too much of this "F you, I've got mine" for my tastes.

For everyone saying it didn't matter...

You can blame her and her campaign.

This is why I would like publicly funded elections. If every American had $100 that they could easily allocate to any candidate that they want... I feel like we would get better options.

Pretty sure Kamala supports a permanent ceasefire as well.

Trump letting Netanyahu turn Gaza into a beach resort also will be Biden and Harris' fault.

The right elitist let the conservative populist in, and the Left elitist did not allow the liberal populist in. Made a huge difference. The DNC & wrong media message pushed many voters away and didn't connect with many groups. In order to have any unity for any organization there needs to be a willingness to comprise to get something done for the people.

Life unfair to him?! Ha! Dude has never wanted for anything. He doesn't know what it's like to be without. Life has been all too fair to him.

If he thinks people have been unfair to him as of late, I just have one thing to say to that...

So, he's gifting Ukraine to Putin. No surprise.

Tent cities are not a real solution. Just a way to clear the cities and put the homeless in a rural area away from people. Not going to work or fix anything.

I love the dialogue since Trump got re-elected. This might bring forth some change. Because what the Democratic Party is packaging up right now is not working.

The era of forcing candidates is my biggest issue.

I remember posting on here when Biden stepped down and there was a few people who insisted upon Harris as the new front runner.

I said if she’s the best candidate then so be it. But just because she’s the VP doesn’t mean we shouldn’t kick the tires.

    I think it's a made up issue.

Do you really think Kamala was a vastly inferior candidate to Biden 2024? Or Biden 2020? Or Hillary? Or John Kerry? Or Dukakis? Or Mondale?
Or, on the other side, Trump? Romney? McCain?

Getting the primary voters to decide is kinda-semi-democratic, but it's not actually a great way to ensure the best possible candidate in the general election.

Because voters can tend to be kinda stupid.

Well based on recent past elections. I’d say Trump is female candidates kryptonite. And in no way am I saying I can’t get behind a female candidate. I was all in for Kamala.

The packaging the Republicans sold all the ignorant voters was he’s a super hero who will take a bullet in the name of the USA.

    PS;

I’ll always think that the assassination thing was staged.

I’d assume a decent part of that 70 million are apathetic toward policy politics.

One thing all those candidates have in common, is that they won a primary. Kamala got 0 votes in the 2020 primary, had the lowest approval rating of any VP ever, then was annointed as the replacement candidate.

But in the 4 states Trump flipped out East coast: Georgia, Penn,Mich,Wisconsin, Trumps 2024 vote exceeded Biden's 2020 vote. Harris performed worse in 2 of those and better in 2 of those.

She's still going to come out of this with a lot less popular votes than Biden, but that's not want caused the flipped states, and thus, the election.
