I remember at the time seeing story about how Scoot's family, especially his sisters, had become very media savvy. That they were the ones, behind the scenes, who were responsible for a lot of the buzz about Scoot. And I thought, "uh oh." But I believed it too.
I think when the OP is posting macro stats, it's probably important for context to see how man games and minutes each of our players have played so far this season. Games: Deni 26 Tou 26 Jerami 24 Dalano 24 Ant 23 Jabari 21 Kris 21 Rayan 21 Scoot 19 Donovan 19 Shaedon 18 Deandre 17 Duop 13 Rob 8 Taze 2 Justin 1 Bryce 1 Minutes: Tou 790.4 Jerami 789.6 Ant 710.7 Deni 691.6 Shaedon 554.4 Deandre 513.4 Scoot 486.4 Dalano 400.8 Donovan 324.9 Kris 266.7 Jabari 233.1 Rayan 222.6 Rob 148 Duop 83.2 Taze 20 Juston 6 Bryce 3 So yeah I've been impressed with Tou and Deni on a game to game level like most of you but the stats in the OP are obviously going to favor the two guys who have played the most games. One being the team leader in minutes played and the other being fourth on the team in minutes played.
Not surprising, he's a very good all-around player, IMO best player on this team which is sorta sad because as much as I like the way he plays he's a perfect 3rd/4th option type guy on a good team
Agreed Scoot has been underwhelming. However, I'm honestly not sure whether it's his fault or the coaches fault. Scoot seems like he's overthinking it. He feels very "Leashed".
