Yeah, TV contracts are up yet ESPN is laying off everyone expensive. It doesn't look like a sustainable aspect of the business model.

And you're kidding yourself if you think the league doesn't care just because revenue is good. Perception is everything, and it often drives reality in time.

Right? I mean if they didn't care why do they continue to change or attempt to improve things? In season tourney? All star mods?

Curious what the NBA #s were last year.

Many of most years there haven't been NFL games on Christmas.

What year has the NBA not done this at Christmas? It's been the same structure for basically the last 20 years.

If he's already out with injury he'd probably be easier for Nurk to catch. Definitely should have hit Luka instead.

I don't recall it being 5 straight games, all televised with no overlap, but perhaps that's age talking.

Let them go like they do in hockey. When they fall, break it up and send them back to the locker room?

They pretty much did. As soon as Nurk felt the wind from the punch that missed him he fell down. The man is as soft as they come. Charmin Soft!

Nurk is soft, but in his defense he was being pulled from behind by a teammate and then another Mavs player pushed him down. That's why he fell. That's why the Mavs had 2 players ejected and PHX got the offsetting tech free throw.

Leagues that struggle don’t expand, plain and simple.

It has always been the same. Only change is, instead of them bouncing back and forth from TNT to ABC……they were all on ESPN. Exact same.

Obviously they “care”….but I promise you with the amount of money that’s coming in, NOBODY is losing sleep.

Bingo. The best user interface you can find now is pirate sites. That's the easiest way to switch from game to game.

Don't feel bad. The NBA is doing fine. Just do what works best for you.

On another note, once you start seeing games on SPIKE or The Outdoor Network like you could with NHL or a playoff game taking place at 2 in the afternoon on a WEEKDAY like MLB was just doing….. THAT is when you will see the NBA worried about their current situation.

I’m not sure Netflix can track viewers. Don’t they track minutes watched? These are tracked by different methods.

I think YouTubeTV is better. Plus, can you easily watch pirated games on your TV?

Absolutely. Especially if you have a Google TV or Android TV (or the $20 Android TV box from Walmart, fire stick, Nvidia Shield, etc).

Install the TV Bro browser and you're off. Open a tab for each game you want to watch and flip back and forth as desired.

YouTube TV is good, but it probably won't have Amazon or Netflix games.
