FG% at rim: .653 (71% of his shots are at the rim) FT rate: .216 considering his rate of shots at the rim his FT rate should be a lot higher. He needs to learn how to fish for whistles
Brunson is actually the leader in charges drawn, but only by a smidge over Camara: https://www.nba.com/stats/players/hustle-leaders anybody know where you can find the defensive distance covered numbers?
good point! looking at all those hustle stats https://www.nba.com/stats/players/hustle-leaders Dyson Daniels is a fairly unique player. Too bad he can't shoot
Leaguewide, Clingan is 1st in Contested Twos per 36, 2nd per game. Camara is 1st in Charges Drawn per game, 1st in total, 4th per 36. Ayton is 6th in Screen Assists per game.
You used career numbers, but I posted what I saw when they were Blazers. As I thought, Jabari Walker is best. 0-3 foot FG%, only Blazer games, per Basketball-Reference: Plumlee .643 Nurkic .626 Walker .655 To the contrary, it's .762 Phoenix and .789 Portland, career .766. (The current portion of numbers changed .001 or so, since you posted 7 days ago.)
his three years with CP3 (which is what I mentioned): .766 .793 .804 (his first 2 seasons without CP3 was .733 & .725; which depressed his conversion rate there) last season .764 this season .841. But comparatively, this season is such a small sample size at this point, it's reasonable to expect regression. There is also the rate factor. For his career, the rate of FGA at the rim is 38.7%. In Portland it's around 28%. Again, it may be reasonable to assume if his attempt rate was higher, his conversion rate would be lower there's little doubt Ayton is good around the rim. Hard to find his assisted FG% at the rim, but Portland he's been in the 92nd percentile on putbacks. However, last season, Grant was in the 98th percentile and Sharpe was in the 94th. Both on a lower rate of attempts though. So yeah, he can hold onto the ball and convert shots when he sees chances to shoot too bad he's so bad at other things a 7' C should be good at (for instance, check the per36 screen assists, box-out, and contested shots stats on that link)
