Columbus is one of the best teams in the league at this moment. They have the Norris winner this year. Young studs in the middle. After years of sucking, they finally have built it over there. If the Rangers don't have their A game defensively, they will be embarrassed tonight. I actually give Columbus a chance to run down a couple of the division leaders. This will be one of the games where Drury will decide to blow it up or not at the deadline.

Yea with Fantilli, Sillinger and Johnson all 20-22yo they are pretty set there. Maybe Drury can pull one on them and get one of them. I wish.

They also found someone in Olivier to protect their talent, how many NHL players can call Mississippi their home? Won't happen but I'd love to see Lav scratch Meeka and put a man in his spot.

This is almost like a mini must win in regulation for them, as they will likely be relegated to fighting for one spot if Columbus wins.

Zibanadouche is such a mentally weak pussy ass player. He should buy a dinner for Igor for this game. Zibanafuck did not even try on that penalty shot attempt because he was sulking for missing two chances.

Kakko 3 A. Almost averaging a ppg now. Drury better resign Borgen. So you can clearly see now the Rangers are fn stupid developing young forwards as a few of us told you all along.

Not sure if this is related or not:

According to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman, the Vancouver Canucks were awfully close to trading Miller to the Rangers.

“J.T. Miller I expect is going to play tonight, unless something changes at the last minute,” Friedman reported. “But there was a time in the last 24 hours where J.T. Miller was not going to play. He was going to be held out of the lineup because talks were progressing on a trade, I believe that team to be the New York Rangers.”

While the Rangers and Canucks reportedly almost had a deal finalized, for whatever reason, talks have stalled.

“Now I don't know exactly what happened but that trade is off right now. ... Things had progressed to a certain point where he was definitely not going to play.”

I don't like giving up Sykora for a older player who is a head case. Though, I could see Miller fitting perfectly with Cuylle and Othmann. Zibanedouche already said he wouldn't go there. So who the fuck are they giving up? Miller is finally playing really well since Borgen unfucked him. Chytil? I don't see that. They are moving Trochek. Kreider? Unless they just want a salary dump with Miller at this point with some prospects. If they eat half his salary. Then the Rangers can move Zibanejad to somewhere where he would go and eat some of his salary.

I would file Krappo under the "can't play in NY" category, the Rangers developed him just fine, he was sent down a few times and had a few injuries but otherwise given ample ice timeon the Rangers to excel. I think Smith is an upgrade for postseason play
