I’ve heard of Flip Murray. Not familiar with a Flip Lopez. Any relation with to Left Eye?

Flip might be a nickname for Felipe, but Felipe Lopez hasn't been in the NBA since 2002.

He was supposed to be the Next Big Thing coming out of high school, as I recall.

Brooklyn doesn’t want to win. They got their draft picks back.

How about Simons and Duop to the Magic for Jonathan Isaac and Denver 25 first round pick?

I'd hope you can move off Isaac for another 1st. He's really good but injury riddled and you already have Tou and Deni.

Wolves are over the 2nd apron so they can't aggregate salaries or take on more salary than they send out

about the only trade that would work is Simons for Randle and Wolves wouldn't do that

The problem is that Ayton isn't bad. The problem is that Ayton is fucking lazy. Those are two different things.

I don't know if lazy is the right word. The dude obviously puts work in.

It's that he refuses to use his size, athleticism and skill the best ways possible. Yeah I would say that he runs from the grind of scoring on the block on one end and blocking shots down low on the other end but either he is a supernatural talent or he puts in work to be so athletic and skilled. He just doesn't do things he's obviously capable of to be the most effective.

It is fucking frustrating... that being said I'm hoping for the slim chance that some coach/GM duo think that they can get him to do those things he's capable of to be dominant and at least take him for neutral value.

Why? Because they don't want Simons or they want to keep Randle? I think they wanted out of Town's contract bad enough that they took Randle as a last result. But he does not seem like a good fit to me. I bet Randle opts out and goes elsewhere if they flounder in the playoffs. Simons might be a good replacement this year for DD. Long shot but possible.

But unless they give us a FRP....why would Portland do it?

I wasn't talking about whether or not each team would do the trade; I was just pointing at about the only trade that would work for Simons-->Minny with the CBA trade rules.

Yeah, not really lazy, but appears disinterested and that has the same effect.

I wonder, though, if playing with an emerging Scoot might change that. If he knows moving and working is going to get him dunks, maybe he's more motivated to move and play harder.

Actually that's one Simons trade that the other team might be more keen on than the Blazers!
