Like not hanging out in the summer to get coached by the assistant coaches in the Practice Facility? That's why he still sucked in the first half of this season. Hadn't improved any weaknesses.
That's simply not true either. Scoot worked with private coaches quite a bit last year. I know this because I was down in LA a few times and know it to be fact.
Dude I'm just wanting the best outcome possible. Anyone who roots for the team should also be rooting for the player.
Same song and dance year after year. He just rotates between Sharpe and Scoot. Either a huge troll or miserably insufferable.
Had a really great pass that only a handful of guys in the league could even conceive of. Dude had 4 assists, he only shot the ball three times. This game does not support your tired ass theory. Go poop somewhere else.
You know what man….. This is a quality human being raised right with a great attitude and amazing work ethic. How can you wish ill on a good person like that. He’s fucking 20…. Trying to figures things out. Fuck off FAMS! Completely unnecessary behavior on here.
I read it on this board months ago. No one posted evidence like that article. Okay I stand corrected about his summer work. I'll still point out how underperforming he is compared to his draft position. For this dreary self-sacrificing multi-year tank to be worth our suffering, we desperately need our high picks to be as good as expected.
It makes total sense. You think that Blazerkor has no ego and I do, just because he praised Scooter and I didn't? You make zero sense. Blazerkor is quite the insulting poster.
good on you for not doubling down and instead admitting your mistake of relying on baseless evidence put up by some poster. Posters often dress up their opinions as fact... especially the most ridiculous here, expect more of that Regardless of the pick number, teams can only select from the guys who happen to be available in a particular draft. By picking Scoot in 2023, they went with a very young guy who obviously had a high ceiling but a long ways to go to get there. Patience would be required. My posted expectations going into this season were that Shaedon and Scoot would still largely suck but hopefully be making some headway towards becoming the players they will be as they are schooled by the league. Both have shown flashes of greatness, but they also struggle with making basic winning NBA plays... that comes with experience. Both have skills that need work, but thats okay too as skills improve with practice. The list of great players who struggled at their age (& older) in the NBA is much longer then the list of those who hit the ground running. STOMP
I fully agree with you on this, there is reasonable criticism, but Aldo is an utter jerk, I have several other adjectives I'd like to use but will keep it civil! good post HCP!
I agree until the last sentence, but anyway: The longer these high picks take to become good, the longer our suffering continues. Sure, they don't arrive turnkey and ready to go, but we should push for improvement, not be passive. The coach should, too, but I think he doesn't know how.
MickZagger posted the article above (about Scooter's summer work) on the same day the article is dated, which is now 2 days ago. Was the article written in response to what I had written a day or two earlier? Coincidence? Or did I eke/provoke the truth out of the media? You can thank me later.
