    And cocaine

We do have coffee crops in the US including in Hawaii, but we get some 80% from Central and South America.

Need I remind you he’s less than a week in office. The trajectory is quite impressive.

Like I get when eggs are not expensive but become expensive...

But damn man... coffee is already insanely overpriced... I am so glad I don't drink coffee or have caffeine. That shit is about to get crazy.

and Trump capitalized on it only to further the divide. I give Trump props only in the fact that he knows how to exploit the vulnerable and naive. It’s been his business model for decades.

I didn't say otherwise. The push from the wealthy has been encroaching on the middle class for decades. There has been some push-back from both Dems and Republicans.

There will be no push-back with Trump. Our only hope is that Dems can mount stiff enough opposition and that Trump can't get rid of enough guardrails to completely destroy this country.

It absolutely mattered his first 4 years. I expect it will matter even more these coming 4 years.

Hopefully it will wake enough people up to force real change for the better...

Nothing will change economically in this country until the workers have more clout and cut into the discrepancy in pay from the CEO and shareholders.

I mean I understand why people are fed up. But Trump will do nothing but worsen that. I mean look at who had prime seats at his inauguration. The top billionaires. Like it’s something for him to brag about?

Trump exploits people and preys on their vulnerabilities. He in essence got elected by propagandizing the American people. It was all just a pile of propaganda and unfortunately we live in a country primarily compromised of stupid people. As harsh as that is, it’s so true. Science is the enemy, education is the enemy. The ilks of Marjorie Taylor Greene actually have a place in our society. You know we’re fucked at that point.

Blue was the lesser of two evils. And people were sleeping through it. Billionaires aren't going to do our work for us. They were funding team Blue more than team Red. It's time to wake up.

I'm hoping the acceleration will spur people into action instead of sleeping through the "blue no matter who" garbage.

You act as if the other side wasn't exploiting people. To simplify it, both sides are using their base's fear and anger to their own advantage. With no intent on fixing a thing.

The "pushback" you speak of has been entirely performative. At least with Trump he's putting it out with no blurred lines.

Look at the legislation that was passed while Biden was in office. Far more stuff being passed to help the average American than Trump could ever dream of. I’m appalled this is even an argument you’re making.

That's my hope. Trump will accelerate wherever we're going which is more likely to bring about change. Either way with either party, the current conditions are damn near unlivable.

Incrementalism is what they want to sell you. And you're defending it? I feel sorry for you. And the election is proof it was insufficient.
