But they have to be able to switch without missing a stroke, right?

They lost by 40 to the team with the best record after getting railroad by their GM and missing Kyrie/AD and Klay.

These are delusions of grandeur if people think we can overcome a 5 game deficit in the standings against Dallas.

Ok. We send JG and Simons and picks to Suns for KD. Then we flip KD and Scoot and RW3 for Luka. Both teams become contenders:

    Luka/Sharpe/Camara/Deni/Ayton
    Scoot/Reaves/KD/LeBron/RW3

When has KD led anyone anywhere? He is a very good supporting player but not a leader.

    Pass.

I agree and I don't think there is quite a 0% chance that we never win it all with this group of players and just some Olsheyish tinkering around the margins but I think it's pretty damn close to 0%. We need an absolute superstar. There are a few guys in this draft that could very well fit that bill but we're going to have to get extremely lucky if we want one of them.

I don't know if the Suns can trade KD when they gave so much up for him but maybe they're willing to take a big L on this one. Two years, not much to show for it. Made some terrible decisions building around KD and Booker. As much as I complain about Joe... I would much rather be us than the Suns fans right now.

Still think the Suns should move Booker. Your team is shit. It's not going anywhere. He has the most value by far on the team(though I still think he's overrated). Get a shit load of assets, turn a tiny bit of them in to Butler, and try a two year run with Beal Butler and Durant. And then let them all fuck off when you inevitably don't win anything. Move Booker to Houston and get your picks back. And then go hard reset after the old guys leave.
