So thinking about this more... the only way the Wizards benefit from that swap is if they have a better record than BOTH the Blazers and Bucks in 2027-28.

With how early they are in a rebuild this seems very unlikely, and if its even the case its probably very close to the same record. I can't imagine the Wizards are MUCH better than both us and Milwaukee.

I guess the one quirk is if we miss the playoffs the next three years then make it in 2028 our pick goes to Chicago and no swap happens. Then the Wizards will simply swap with the Bucks, which yeah I could see them being significantly better than. I wonder if the Wizards valued that complex, unlikely but potentially valuable possibility.

Cronin by taking Holiday and the draft pick/swaps from the Bucks could really have done a number on that franchise.

If the Warriors are out of the Durant sweepstaks and lets say the Durant/Butler swap is where things are headed would you guys like this deal assuming that we waive or flip GP2weeks and Looney? Is Jerami worth Kuminga and Moody to the Warriors?

If they ever explore trading Giannis were the #1 team they will contact first.

    And cut Payton immediately. LOL

I see no chance Warriors give us Moody and Kuminga for that. That would be a haul IMO

I personally don't want anything to do with paying Kuminga but I know many others like him. If the Warriors value him I'd think they wouldn't want this deal either. Hurts their future but not enough talent to make them contenders now.

I still think that Orlando makes sense for Ant and Dalano would give them another perimeter scorer they're lacking.

The trade is Ant and Dalano for Anthony Black, Cole Anthony and I think some draft capital would be coming our way as well. Maybe it's Denver's first in this upcoming draft, maybe it's some second rounders or maybe we send them a couple of seconds and get Denver's 2025 FRP.

The trade works for the CBA even though we shed some salary it also doesn't put Orlando into the luxury tax.

What would reuniting Rob with Ime look like... is Cam Whitmore worth what Joe is saying. We'd have to waive Jeff Green unless we made another trade that sent more players out than it returned.

I'm not sure what you're saying here. Are you saying that Kuminga no longer has value to us???

I think if Jerami was gone a three forward rotation of Deni, Tou and Kuminga would be extremely nice to have.

I'd do that deal, but would immediately move Kuminga unless he agreed to extend for what Moody did. I like Deni and Toumani more than him, so if he's looking for 20+ as a bench player, no interest from me.

Hmm wonder who else is in the deal.

Crazy that Sacramento is still trying to win.

DaFuq does LeBron care about a FRP in 2031, when he'll likely be the owner of the Las Vegas Spades. Now Rob Pelinka might now want to give up that FRP but LeBron is living for today.
