I’m quite sure you have gotten punched in the nose a few times in your life huh? And the next morning just couldn’t quite figure out why.

Sorry brother, gotta’ disagree with you on this one. These few wins lately are good for the fans and moral SHORT term….slipping out of a possibility of the Top 3 in THIS year’s draft…. Definitely going to set us back a couple seasons.

More than a couple seasons, IMO. This will screw up the rebuild and probably keep us from competing with this group until the next rebuild.

Same as winning so much after losing Aldridge set us back. It's fools gold.

Our only hope will be getting the next Giannis or Jokic to fall to us. We're just playing penny slots at the casino now...

I'm holding judgement until after Feb 9th. My bet is this team shuts it down after All Star break next weekend. Drastic changes this weekend and by next weekend things will look a bunch different.
Yes I agree some of the wins were unexpected and probably should not have happened. Glad a few fans enjoyed them. Bigger picture is they need to get back down to where they at least have a chance at a top 4 pick.
Fans probably should stop booing Chauncey as he has shown he has not lost the team.

Winning the year after Aldridge left wasn't the problem - handing out massive contracts to all of Crabbe Turner Meyers that next summer was.

If we give Ant and Ayton big extensions this summer it will be a comparative failure.

But those contracts happened because of the "fools gold" wins we had. And we didn't have good enough basketball people to know better.

Marang made the same prediction last night.

Shutting everyone down Feb9 makes even less sense than trying to win. If we were going to stand pat with trades this year and try to tank from Feb9 onward why have all the vets on this roster this season driving us to today's 22 wins? We're currently only 3 wins behind two playin teams?

We had 21 wins all of last year in an epically weak draft. We've already missed the opportunity to tank for a top pick in this epically loaded draft.

Yeah I'm certainly not passing judgement. I'm simply concerned.

If it is an epically loaded draft instead of a top-heavy draft then we should be ok.

It's an epic top5 in this draft.

Last year with 21 wins we got the 7th pick - today we have more wins. The ship has sailed on tanking for a likely top5 pick.

Sure we could get some miracle and jump into the top4. But that same miracle is there regardless of pushing for the playin and falling short or trying to tank from here on out.

They're not really very similar. How about a poor man's John Havlicek?

So much is wrong with so many so-called fans in here. "Sob sob, sniff sniff, whaaaaa, why couldn't we have trades Simons and Ayton for actual GOOD player???"

News alert. Simons and Ayton ARE great players. It's actually rather comical to see people wanting to perpetually whine and complain and keep wanting to give up on players and grab new and start over again.

Have you even watched games? Do you see how they are playing? Did you see Anfernee last night? And you want to trade that? And it isn't a fluke performance or a one-off.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, but da grass is always greener elsewhere. The ASS of the wife is always tastier in the neighbor's yard. Why don't you realize the ass you already have in your wife is a FINE frickin' ass! Just clean her up, motivate her to whip her butt into shape, get her with the program of winning at life daily and it will be sweet looking AND tasting! Besides, if you trade out for what's on the other side of the fence? You'll find it has its flaws, too and needs work, so why make the moves?

Crazy you guys are still up in trading Grant, Ant and Ayton.

I’m not opposed to trading either of them, but it’s what we would get back that’s most important.

rememebr the ones saying we need to trade Ant for a draft pick, hilarious lol

How many superstars have the blazers drafted in the past 30 years with top picks?

Imagine if we tanked this year and didn’t even get a top 3 pick lol. That would be fun wouldn’t it?

Lol bro, Ayton made the finals and was a big reason for them getting there.

Grant has been on many playoff teams.

go cry some more damn, we are playing good and you still bitching

    Haha, nope. No one would dare;

1st: friends/fellow fans agree with this attitude of fuck tanking.

2nd: I have 6 times the strength of standard men.

3rd. My intellect, awareness and improvisational ability is extremely high and if someone else tried an attack, they would end up in a world of hurt on themselves.

4th. I should stop here before I sound like I'm boasting.
