European diplomats saying the 70 year old trans Atlantic alliance is over. It is now Europe on one pole and US/Russia on other. Or I should say Russia/US.

Google Molotov/Ribbentrop if names don't mean anything to you. Substitute Lavrov/Rubio.

There are a couple speaking up but carefully avoiding criticizing Trump. Seem to be more house representatives speaking up but I don't see any of them introducing a bill to provide more military aid to Ukraine.

I think air defense rockets, HIMARs rockets and 155 mm artillery shells will be what Ukraine will miss the most from USA. They will have to make up for it with small drones. The have some IRIS air defense systems, not as good a Patriot for shooting down missiles. Trump is basically allowing the murder of more civilians from russian missiles by withholding aid.

Until Trump is gone Ukraine will have to rely upon British, French and German support along with the smaller military contributions of other NATO nations. Britain is talking about putting troops on the ground in Ukraine. Trump is a pay for play leader and he thinks since Ukraine refused to give him half of their precious mineral rights, fuck em...sad but the state of the world these days.

The problem is that it will take a while for Europe to ramp up arms production. Maybe Trump will allow Europe to buy the most crucial things for Ukraine, like the 155 mmm shells.

They really just need one bullet to stop Putin. Even a noose would do the trick.

Europe needs to step up and put boots on the ground in Ukraine as peace keepers.

There isn't peace to keep. If they put boots on the ground now, it would have to be to fight in the war.

Tell Putin unless he wants NATO on the ground in Ukraine, to back off.

He has to be dealt with at some point or he will keep going using the same "I'll Nuke your ass fear" strategy.

Jokes on them... we don't have kilometers in the US! Their missiles will be confused and hit the wrong places!

Had to find the source tweet.

However, looking through his timeline, his tweet appears to basically be commentary on Trump's "Truth Social" post from yesterday morning (which he commented on about an hour earlier).

Not sure you understand how this works. Ukraine is not a NATO country, so deploying NATO there isn’t an option. “NATO” isn’t an independent army either, it’s just a conglomerate of its member countries’ militaries. So “NATO on the ground” just means US on the ground when you consider most of it’s member countries don’t even pay in their part and it’s an outdated and useless organization propped up by the US taxpayer.

Longest peacetime in European history is hardly outdated and useless. NATO works.
