so i guess they pulled the plug the moment the kings won and mathematically knocked us out?

i'm guessing we've seen the last of deni/shaedon the rest of this season. finally.

losing to the spurs is an absolute must now. go get #8.

 

I don't think any eyebrows get raised. It was the second night of a back to back, both Shaedon and Deni had already put in 35 minutes tonight.

What I do think sitting Deni does, after having listed him as a game time decision is make it so no eyebrows get raised when we sit him with all the guys that were already sitting tonight in the game against San Antonio.

We might get a share of the 8th spot in the lotto if we lose out. That would give San Antonio one win and then they might get another against the Hornets and that would give us and the Spurs the same record.

 

the way we went about this tonight tells me we are ready to lose every game the rest of the way.

We're lucky Shaedon had about the worst game he possibly could tonight, or we would have won. Must have been out celebrating a little too much with the fam after tying his career high in Toronto last night. Can't believe some of the shots he missed.

Nice to see Rupert get some meaningful run.

Clingan got schooled by the vet Vucevic tonight, but he's got the chance to be an absolute monster when he fills out in his upper body.

 

Getting #8 would take the us losing out and the Spurs winning two of their other final 4 games after beating us on Sunday. One of those games is against Charlotte so I could see them winning that one but right now I think it seems pretty likely that the best we'll get is a share of the 8th spot in the lotto.

Kings didn’t knock us out. In fact, we are still not knocked out. If we win out, Kings needs to win one game to knock us out. They play Cavs, Pistons, Nuggets twice, and Suns.

 

This bums me out. Kings have a tough schedule. If we won tonight, we had a legit shot. We still do but the plug has obviously been pulled.

 

Joe said he was going to give us a shot. This pisses me off.

why even play shaedon and deni if you're gonna do this? pretty disgusting approach though.

just sit guys the whole game instead of knocking their legs out from under them with just 3 mins left. has to leave a sour taste in deni's and shaedon's mouths.

 

It’s what Dallas did the year they got Luka. Play hard then pull out the rug at the end but the fans were aware it was happening. I thought we were trying to make play-in and we still had a good chance. We still have a chance but it’s obvious we’ve quit so I’m done. We better get Flagg.
