Dumars sent him to the lottery. I'm not sure that's what someone does if they're planning on moving him.
I was thinking the same thing, that if I wanted to move off of Zion I would make it look like I didn't to drive the price up.
So the Blazers can offer the best of the three to either Milwaukee or Boston and it's all irrelevant. Does it really matter if they're getting their own pick back?
W but who are we targeting at #3? Ace Bailey? We already have Sharp and Deni. So unless you think Bailey will be a franchise star and a lot better than Sharpe, I wouldn’t do it.
#3 is in play for the big swing when it is ours too. zion? jones and #7 and future 1sts and/or swaps from NOP? we have one of the very best talent evaluators in schmidtz. would have too be his call on value of #3. that is why he makes the big bucks.
I’ll take Smith and Reed in the deal if Mil wants any picks back. Smith would be nice off the bench and Reed can shoot, he didn’t get much opportunity last season.
Why not both? Brooks, R. Sheppard, J. Smith, Return of a pick from Portland and a pick from NOP to Milwaukee Zion to Portland DA and #10 pick To NOP Giannis to Houston Just a basic idea...
If we're a third team in the trade those swaps should be treated with the same value as FRPs. The Bucks look like they're about to start a rebuild and rebuilds for small markets can take a long time. I don't mind if we are the third team but we should be getting solid value for those swaps if they're going back to the Bucks.
